Wait what if white is the creator of bismuth? Hear me out. So white is all the colours of the spectrum(as said from Change Your Mind) hence the rainbow hair. And the reason she has all the personalities of the diamonds is because, as White said, Pink is a part of her, which could mean that all the other diamonds are a part of her, causing bismuth to have all the characteristics of each diamond. But hey what do I know I just like Steven Universe

Bismuth was made by White Diamond. Like White Diamond, she aspires to fix things. When one of the Diamonds' ships lands on Steven's house, she's immediately like "Oh, I'll fix that." She's also a builder, a gem made to construct and fix stuff. Also: she is rainbow, white is all colours of light.

this might also explain why it was harder to get peridot to switch to the crystal gems, while sapphire, and quite a bit of pink diamond off colors were swayed by simply hearing that they could be themselves. this also explains the famethyst.

We haven't really seen any black gems that aren't fusions yet.

What I think each diamond fusion would be Blue&pink=purple diamond Yellow&pink=orange diamond Blue&yellow=green diamond

A Gems color doesn't define their personality, but it can amplify certain emotions and mute others. Like Blue Diamonds hue mutes her ability to express happiness but amplifies her ability to express sadness.

I’m so confused though.... I always assumed that the Gem color came from the type of earth they were put in. The sand stone of the beta kindergarten made Jasper look the way she is. I guess it’s just a coincidence?

A couple of gems I would love to see someday. Yellow Sapphire with a Tsundere personality who is under Yellow Diamond's court. Tanzanite, a high-rank gem under Blue and Pink's court that's associated with Sapphires, or possibly a fusion form of a Sapphire and an Amethyst.

Pink diamond/Steven +blue diamond fission= cotton-candy diamond

We never saw citrines, which are yellowish or orangish in reality, so maybe Yellow and Pink then

Bismuth IS probably not only White's court but everyone's. After all.. she does have rainbow hair and she builds and fixes literally everything! With that being said, I also feel like White and her gems have a perfectionist type personality. I feel like that's why Pearl and Bismuth are good friends. I feel like it's foreshadowed with Bismuth saying "Upper cutting and upper-crust" referring to the system that Home World has; off colors hide under while the gems in order work on top. Just like how Pearls gem is divided into layers; the top layer "where everything is alphabetized" and the rest of her gem is a mess cuz of Pink/Rose's secret.

I have a mini theory, some gems that are green and serves yellow diamond, like for example; peridot, doesn't serve blue. The reason why i think this, is the fact that not all gems can be yellow. And also the fact that the diamond on their shirts matches the color of their diamond.

This helps with a gem I was designing! I'm designing a green Spinel and her Pearl at the moment. Spinel was made by Yellow and Blue to be an advisor for Pink. Since they didn't trust her to make good choices when it came to her colony, they made a personal advisor for her with traits that they saw as desirable. I imagine Spinel to have been close with Pink. She would be extremely mournful of Pink's "shattering", like Blue. I also think she would be quite logical and short-tempered, like Yellow. Spinel is unable to let go of the past but represses her feelings because she sees them as irrelevant or a hindrance, only expressing herself to her Pearl.

First, I love your videos! Keep up the great work! I wonder if Bismuth is connected to the pebbles some how. The pebbles seem to build structures like Bismuth, but much smaller. I mean Bismuth is a type mineral and pebbles are fragments of a rock, which is a combination of some minerals. Who knows? They may have more in common than we know and also lead to who created Bismuth.

I think Bismuth was created by just yellow, blue and pink just look at her hair, its blue, pink, yellow, orange, green and purple. And there doesn't seem to be any indications of white in there.

Apparently all the lower jade colors are in Pink's court while the more yellowish looking ones are in Yellow's and the more green ones are in Blue's. This makes sense as Pink is the lowest tier of the Diamond Authority. Also the lower color ones all wear frilly dresses like Pink does while the rest have more subdued outfits.

i really think the series could continue with steven and all of the gems truly attempting to bond with the diamonds and focus on the changes that could occur to the diamond race after the diamond authority finally seeing from pinks more "human" point of view

True, but at the same time there are still some gems who belong to Diamonds who have no shared color to them whatsoever. I read about apparently there are some Hessonites who belong in Blue Diamond’s court, despite being of nearly complete yellow color, for example. Oh and of course, can’t forget that some rubies also served Blue Diamond.

I would think Bismuths would belong toWhite Diamond due to white being a combination of every color. And Bismuth’s hair shares the same quality.

Wait a minute, I just realised that 3/4 of the Diamonds are a primary color, Yellow, Blue and White (Those colors can't be created using other colors as far as I remember), But Pink can get created (Using the colors White and RED), Maybe someone can make a theory about that :3

For the people who wonder who emerald is under, I'm pretty sure she is mainly within yellow diamonds court, since if you look at her kinda, chest armor, there is a pale yellow diamond in the central area of her outfit

Blue's court isn't _only_ diplomatic roles, if Lapis being a terraformer is any indication. Bismuth, like Lapis, has a role in colonisation that could hint at origins with Blue.

The diamond on a home world gem’s shirt is their diamond. For peridot, it had a yellow diamond on her shirt.

I feel as though they are created by certain diamonds but are divided between each court. This is why we saw Rubies were in Blue’s court.

This also could explain why purely yellow or blue gems (e.g. Lapis, sapphire, aquamarine, topaz) are considered high in status in home world since they are the direct offspring of one diamond. It seems “mixed” gems (e.g peridot, ruby, amethyst) are not aristocratic and are viewed more as a common gem.

While we haven't seen a Gem with White Diamond's insignia, there were at least two monochrome Gems at Rose's Fountain: the big one who's probably Snowflake Obsidian, and a much smaller one who may be Zebra Jasper.

Great video (as always), but it made me remember what "harvesting" could be, since that still has yet to come up. Is there a bigger entity than White Diamond, who looks for only the most perfect gems and takes them away? I know one theory about harvesting was in regards to the talking walls and moving statues, but maybe there's going to be a more sinister reason. Even White's speech at the end of "Change Your Mind" implied that someone or something made her. But why...

So, what I believe is that White can have all sorts of Gems plus exclusive rights to White, Black, and Grey while they others can have their respective colours, combinations with other Diamonds and maybe special "Light" Versions with White, Like Light Green [insert gem], Light Blue [insert gem] etc

If Bismuth WAS a former underling of White, that does give an extra satisfying touch to the scene where Bismuth decks her in the face with the handship (indirectly, but still. ) Bismuth definitely wasn't Pink's because she mentions having build stuff on many other colonies before Earth. White does have her own planets (seen on her murals and in garnet's narration) She seems to be a very hands-off ruler but then again who knows what, if anything she used to do alone in her palace ship all day. Maybe she did do administrative paperwork, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of her higher-ranked overseers never saw her face or heard her voice. Perhaps she's got a knack for organizing stuff and that's part of how homeworld ended up being so stratified, because she went over board with that and would throw a tantrum at anyone who questioned her.

It all makes sense when you think about it...mind blown. Also, random question but did steven ever get his cell phone back from that one pebble? Is his phone still chilling on Homeworld?

I think the denial part (white) Would shine through bismuth in the seasons prior when she was first introduced. She was in denial about Steven being who he is. You could say that moment even mirrored the end of season 5 a bit with it taking something Pink/Rose would never do or say for her to realize it wasn’t.

I believe that White Diamond's aversion to Off Colors might be due to Off Colors not displaying the expected colors they're supposed to have. It's possible that gems are intentionally designed to exhibit colors that reflect their intended personalities. This design helps White Diamond identify them more easily and determine how to interact with them. However, Off Colors defy this convention by not matching the colors they are meant to have. Consequently, their personalities don't align as expected with their assigned colors, causing White Diamond to feel discomfort around them. Her desire to remove them may stem from the challenge of discerning their true personalities and determining how she should interact with them.

Bismuth being from white diamond is correct because the fact that she encompasses perfectionism. But since she is a bismuth her perfectionism is directed towards her weapon forging (a form of protection since she is a protection stone)

you should try to figure out what a fusion between The Diamonds would look like, for instans pink and blue, or yellow and pink, or and maybe all four!

I was actually thinking that's how it worked!! Gems would sport different colours depending on whose court they're in. I had thought of this when thinking of my weird Steven Universe/Kirby crossover,where the gems(and humans) meet Kirby and his friends(gijinka,as well as Kirby being able to speak full sentences),where Magolor says he might fit well in both Yellow and Blue's courts(due to him sporting blue clothes with yellow)but also saying he *could* fit into White's court as well as Pink's due to his white cape and more calm and logical nature,and the purple on his tunic with his more goofy side. ...I'm probably gonna be making a list about who could fit in which court,but I can't put it here because it'll be a *LONG* one!!!

I think bismuth(s) served all the courts at once, as builders and engineers, and built anything to a diamond's or gem uppercrust's specifications

MOST Jasper's we have seen would be from Pink or Yellow's court, but Ocean Jasper may be from blues (since she is green/aqua) And I would assume that most emeralds are working for blue. Pure Yellow beryl's (Heliodors) probably are what Yellow uses and pink probably had Bixbites. Aquamarines are different so that really only leaves Blue Emeralds.

What about the gems that can come under a variety of colors like Tourmaline? Would gems of different shades have more of an influence by a specific diamond?

Wow, I never thought that gem color represented which Diamond made them. I thought it was just that they were mainly random colors and belong to different diamonds.

If gems are created by dimond's extractions then they mixed the extraction of blue and pink to create amethysts. It's also found that the minerals in the soil are important for the gem color.

I would assume Bismuth would have been under Pink because she was a crystal gem early on, where most of the gems would have been part of Pink's court.
