I know that this is 5 years late and we now know a lot more, but let's ignore that for a moment. In this theory, he presented the idea that PD wore limb enhancers as a unique invention for herself specifically. Later on, different limb enhancers would have been manufactured and mass produced to boost weak powerless gems. It'd be kinda like seeing someone with a catapult, a device you've never seen before, and being inspired to make slingshots, something much smaller, easier to mass produce, and much weaker but still effective for soldiers.

WenkyBoo Studios it honestly does. the diamonds want their subjects to believe they are prefect. being short,defective and off color would not be up to what homeworld views as prefect. they would be seen as hypocrites. they used the fear of their flawless nature to make gems loyal to the diamonds. if one of them wasn’t “prefect” gems would start to question their leadership.

none of the Crystal Gems are Era 2s, nor had they gotten up-close to any before Peri, so they wouldn't know the extremity of which Era 2s really are helpless without their limb enhancers//complete with them

Atill they didn't try to retreive them once they knew after Peridot became an ally. The Gems have been jerks to her. Leaving her in a broken barn, almost beating her up when she bad mouthed Rose, Amethyst throwing her tablet away if Peridot didn't have her powers would have had nothing again.

If they hadn't done that, Peri never would have discovered her magnetism.

That wasn't Amethyst's intention. Still there is the fact that they isolated her in an old barn, threatened her life when she was an ally and generally ignored her unless they need her. Steven is the exception but even he ignores her and thinks leaving her in a bathroom is good shelter.

Yet peridot had a whole redemption ark and got her own place. Yes it’s a old barn but it’s not like the gems could magically make a new room. (Maybe they can maybe they can’t) I think it’s nice that peridot got a whole barn plus the land around it. Because peridot as shown loves the earth, and what better place to go then the barn where you can enjoy the earth. ( a bit repetitive but you get what I’m saying) Also she had lapis (until she up and left peridot) and pumpkin to keep her company. She also likes farming which makes even more sense why she would live in a barn on a farm. As for her now living in the bathroom, let’s take a step back to the episode where she was hiding *in the bathroom* I think maybe peridot wanted to sleep there because she was familiar with it or something (could be wrong) Also amethyst and Steven tried to help peridot plant a garden in a kindergarten. So They didn’t just shove her in a bathroom and say “ bye”. As for the crystal gems and the limb enhancers, I can’t quite recall but I think peridot gave up them. She had a foot limb enhancer that Steven gave her and I think she got rid of it, or something. (I may be wrong though) As the crystal gems aren’t the *ahem* nicest people to home world gems. They shoved lapis in a mirror and were mean to peridot. But by now you should know that they aren’t perfect. Pearl used Garnet, amethyst did some irrational things, and etc. No way am I saying that the crystal gems are pure perfect beings, but maybe you shouldn’t be so hard on them. I mean Steven who was nice to people like peridot, did mess up. When he turned himself in he hurt Connie’s feelings, and worried EVERYONE. He may of not done as bad stuff like the gems but I’m just trying to say that even thought they were mean to peridot they WERE nice to her, that the crystal gems aren’t the best neither is Steven, and that maybe you misinterpreted some things. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I fact you’re sorta right. I’m just giving my thought on the subject.
