Looks like that one with the burn hole in it was labeled as defective in the factory and then got bought up by a third party and resold, it happens a lot in China.

@@bvbs5572 The problem is.. what usually people (especially from america) call cheap stuff on wish, can be easily found in local stores for half the price.. just as a quick example, youtubers act like a 10$ mouse pad is a great deal, while you can easily find a branded one, (and usually they are even bigger, like 90x30cm) for like 5$?..

major difference is that when you plug in original razer mouse, the mouse automatically downloads the drivers, i guess the copy doesn't do that.

update 4 months later, usually since they are from 2014, the deathadders wont show in synapse 3, idk if it would change or not, but installing synapse 2 would probably make it show up.

So buying a really cheap Deathadder is an incredibly affordable way to refurbish your authentic DeathAdder with genuine Razer housings! That's said as a joke, but honestly coming across weird combos of authentic/counterfeit stuff like this tends to be well worth the price compared to the cost of hunting down specific components.

@@ra3dlightning844 DPI isn't the whole story, as shown in the video with the sensor losing track and spinning out. There's much more work required than simply swapping the sensor as I'm presuming you're referring to. You'd need to replace it with an appropriate controller and that is guaranteed to have different voltage/communication requirements than the one installed, meaning altering the components/trace design on the pcb itself. So unless you're interested in electrical engineering and want to challenge yourself, that's a project that far exceeds effort and expense of just buying a Razer mouse hahaha

I've seen these mice IRL on my friends' desktops, and oh boy the amount of pride they have of having it thinking they have the real deal and they are in their 20s. They bought their mice all at once for 300php(that's like 7usd) in 2019, they bought 4 of them for each. These were on our online stores (Lazada and Shopee)

Seems like I have the original one but my mouse wheel is broken after nearly 2 months lol. I had a Rapoo V210 before this which is cheaper and it worked great for 4 years! Same daily usage with both btw. I guess I'll buy another Rapoo!

I was a razer fanboy when I was younger, after growing up a bit I realised that all of their peripherals feel cheap and plasticy in my opinion, I now only have a razer headset which I think is their only good peripheral 🤷‍♂️

I think i have a fake one also 😅 but it works even after 3 years and my hand does not hurt as it would with a previous mouse so i call it a win , also i got it for 2 dollars from someone . I still have bragging rights , nobody can tell the diffrence , unless they try to connect it to synapse .😅

@@MythicByrd Personally, I have a V3 wired with a bungee. I've used a V2 for a little bit, but I really prefer the more subtle shape of the V3 and the incredibly low weight. The wired version is honestly such an amazing deal.

Great video and all but at @5:10 When you say RGB and you are spelling the latters out. You put a "d "and it's supposed to be "B". Did you do that to meme at people? lol Their cheap knock off ones you got. The logo, colore and board dont match up. Look at the Razer logo and ove rlap it and make sure it does not have some sort of a hack software on it.
