The most enchanting and magical thing about Diana is, she is a perfect storyteller. Whatever she sings, better,performs, everybody understands, regardless of language. She has the heavenly gift of transmitting the message through her emotional voice, her eyes, her face and her body language. Additionally her power never sounds aggressiv. In contrast, even when she sings powerful, her voice carries so much tenderness and soul.

YEs. The blonde lady they kept showing is Olga. The lyrics were written by a Russian Special Forces soldier after a friend died in an explosion

Hello from France Derek Thank you for your loyalty! Yes it was Olga Kormukhina who was the guest judge, the blonde lady in red who is very moved. She is a very famous rock singer in Russia. She didn't write the song but it was she who popularized it. She told Diana after the performance that she made it the best interpretation she had ever heard

Oh, Derek. As you were amazed when you listened to this song I'm amazed that you liked it so much you actually approved it without even understanding Russian language this song is in. You are amazing. If only you could be my friend although I know it's not possible. This performance is actually the part of the episode 5 of the Russian show ShowMaskGoOn. If only you could see other performances by other artists as well. They are also very good, most of them that is. But Diana of course is the leader right now.

Author, the original artist for this song is the lady sitting in the jury box, Olga Kormukhina. You can see she chokes up with the emotion Diana adds to her cover. This song was written by a former paratrooper the day after his best friend was killed during a special operation, and he miraculously managed to stay alive. Now re-see those in black, including Diana, and the one in red, who dies. Diana's version of this song, just killed even Olga Kormukhina. Olga at the end of this show said: " Diana I LOVE you girl......" She was very emotional after Diana's performance.

Howdy from Texas, Dereck! Diana's vocal coach has said that this is the most difficult song she has sung. And she was magnificent! As always! P.S. The woman watching and responding was the original singer of this song back in the 1980s.

Thanks for the reaction. "The Way" This song was written by a former operative, who fought the Mafia in gang wars in the 90s. His best friend was killed during a special operation, and he miraculously managed to stay alive. The woman dancer represents the soul of a dead person, and the dancers in black personify the doubts and fear of this rushing soul. The soul rushes about, waits for the decision of its fate, desperately falls to her knees before the Angel, because the sinful soul itself can no longer do anything for its salvation. The task of justifying the Soul, remembering its good deeds, is assigned to the Angel- Diana sings: "Wait a little longer, and we will show you the way." But the final decision is up to God - a white fiery cross at the end of the song ........ This performance perfectly combines Diana's voice with dancing. As always, a very deep and heartfelt presentation. Эта песня была написана бывшим оперативником, который боролся с мафией в бандитских войнах в 90 годах. Его лучший друг был убит в ходе спецоперации, а ему чудом удалось остаться в живых. The lady they showed is the original singer, and that song is a big deal in Russia. The word you were looking for is contralto, but that's a voice type. Diana's style is rather unique. Like a strange combination of operatic bass and choir technique.

The classification of her voice is called contralto. In detail she's a dramatic contralto. In opera you'll usually hear lyric contraltos. Dramatic contraltos not only are extremely rare. Most of them do not sound good so in classic music literature there's almost nothing written for her type of voice. Dians truly is a wonder of nature.

Olga Karmukhina also has an amazing version of the song, but Diana brings her magic to the song, she remakes it for herself and I am constantly surprised how easily she remakes the song for herself and we definitely hear that it is DianaOlga Karmukhina is a judge and she gave Diana 9 points the highest score, Olga said that only Diana could sing her best 😊

У Дианы из рок хитов получается нечто своё, это уже её собственное прочтение, это отдельный стиль, а не рок. Тут и нарастающее напряжение и кульминация и всё, что должно быть в этой песне, но это не рок. -))
