Diana doesn't own the copyright to this video, or to any of the other videos of her performances on NTV that are posted on the channel @KwstasVagias. It was not her but NTV that gave permission to the channel owner to post them. It did so only because of protracted and very determined efforts on his part for which all fans of Diana should be hugely grateful, especially because they were entirely selfless, his channel not being monetised. Such efforts were necessary because NTV, which at first of course had posted the videos on its own channel originally, took them all down, basically because of a spat that YT started with Russia. Its so doing was a tragedy. The original videos had received hundreds of millions of views, and when they were taken down all of the comments on them were lost, and with them the historical record of those viewers' admiration and love. Even by the time Diana came to give the fourth and last of her 2018 _You are Super_ performances - this performance being the second - the first three performances, Derniere Danse, Man's World and Rechenka, had received 80m views! The loss was a tragedy for a second reason, one connected with your observation that at the end of this performance Diana can be seen to switch out of the ultra-professional persona she had adopted so brilliantly for the song, and back to the child that was her own self. Sadly, with the loss of the original videos we have lost what happened next, which was extremely moving and illuminating, and very much to Diana's credit. As can be seen at the end of this video, when she comes out of the song's persona, she beams with delight, thrilled by the audience's rapturous reception of her performance. But within a couple of minutes she was in a flood of tears., and completely distraught. It happened like this. Amidst the judges' praises, the host engaged her in conversation about her past, and mentioned a little nephew that she loved very much but hadn't seen for years following her adoptive family's move to Togliatti (in part in response to Diana's fear of her birth mother). When she was told that as a surprise, her little nephew had been brought to the show , she exploded with delight and ran off-stage to hug and kiss him as she saw him begin to make his entrance. She was then completely overcome with emotion and started crying profusely. Remarkably she was still sufficiently self-possessed to think to thank the host and the judges with hugs in gratitude. It is a great pity that as far I know this final part of the occasion is now available on YT only in a couple of old reaction videos. Nothing better demonstrates the beauty and depth of her nature and spirit.

Please watch the full version of Derniere Danse. Since you know French and the song I would love to see your reaction. It gives me an Egyptian feel. Human, has a southwestern, American Indian feel. Crow, is just a bad ass. There’s one part that reminds me of Dimash middle eastern glottal. Not sure if glottal is the right term but I’m going with it!
