Finally got to introduce my girls to Diana, and they absolutely loved her! I also couldn't get enough of Brandon Stone and the awesome faces he made while playing the piano. He clearly felt the music and is one happy guy!

Brandon Stone is a great artist, singer, song writer and composer. He first heard Diana at the age of 16 and decided to write and compose a song for her. Since then they have collaborated many times, he composed most of her original songs and he even wrote some of them. As for Diana's story, she has been abused by her biological mother and at the age of 3 she was abandoned with a brocken collarbone. She ended up in an orphanage where a lady that was a masseuse in a sanatorium where the children of the orphanage visited decided to adopt her. Diana had speech problems from the neglect so her stepmother was advised to provide singing lessons to her and so her talents were discovered. A small clarification; Brandon heard Diana for the first time much earlier when he worked with children at a competition as an arranger of numbers on NTV, and wrote the song when Diana was almost 16. There is a video of rehearsals before the concert of Brandon Stone and Diana.

Brandon Stone (The real name of the performer is Besik Shpetishvili) is a singer, composer, poet, producer. Brandon was born in Georgia. He wanted to play drums, but his father told him that every Georgian child should be able to play the piano. Brandon and his parents moved to Germany. There he entered the prestigious Berlin Conservatory "Hans Eisler", where he received a professional musical education. Brandon now lives in Russia. Brandon's family is a Russian wife named Natalia and two adorable babies. Brandon met Diana when she was 14 years old. Since then, Brandon has composed more than 20 songs for Diana. Brandon is the author of the lyrics and music of "The Day you..." for Diana in Russian.

Thank you for that - Russian diminutives are always something I've had trouble with. I took some Russian literature in college many years ago and the diminutive names were often so different from the proper names that I often didn't realize it was referring to the same person!

I remember when you watched her performance of I can't help falling in Love I asked you if you were willing to give up your drink to watch it again and you said no but it appears as though you are becoming quite the fan. In this performance you'll notice that she did a little bit of jazz. Skatting in the middle and when I first heard that I thought to myself she would probably do a great blues for jazz number and not long after that she came out with a performance called. In my huge City and it was completely amazing please check it out you will be shocked she has the perfect voice for it it was based on a very very old Russian poem about a woman who suffers from insomnia. As you can tell all of her fans Come running the minute they see a new reaction video of hers and I must say that we envy you because you are just starting out and have a long way to go so many amazing performances left for you to view and many of them are either collaborated or involve Brandon Stone in fact he is the one that helped her do in my huge City he has been very very good for her career and a great friend to her

She is learning English actually and does not speak other languages, except for Russian. She is able to sing in many languages, because of her ear for music and languages. People called her voice "dramatic contralto", but it's lower and more powerful, than any contralto ever (and she is able to sing well in high-pitch, up to sixth octave).

Diana range is unusual for a contralto, but not because of her lower register. It isn't true that she is able to sing lower than "any contralto ever." Many - perhaps even most - contraltos can sing as low as she does. Much rarer is her upper register. It is very abnormal for a contralto to be able to sing D6 (as in "The Day You")! In any case, it is not her range but rather the extraordinary tone and resonance of her voice, and the variety of its colours, that makes her unique and out of this world

@@jackburgess8579 The lowest contralto note normally is D3, Diana took it easily impromptu, she is using C3 and likely able to take down to A2 right now. She is just 20 yo, while contraltos are getting their full power by 30-35. Likely we are witnessing a development of "supercontralto" voice or female bass. Her other abilities are even more outstanding, but may not be calculated.

@@user-sy6rj8fq5z You are just speculating about Diana's lower range and its development. D6 is much rarer for a contralto than is C3. Whether Diana can or will sing A2 remains to be seen. Even if she can or will, that still wouldn't be unprecedented. It wouldn't make her "lower than any contralto"), any more than her D6 makes her higher than any soprano (despite the fact that some sopranos can't sing beyond C6).

@@jackburgess8579 In fact, it's also outstanding, but some singers could take high enough notes with their head voice. There's no use to compare to pop singers, their voices are too weak and small. If you'll watch some performances of better operatic contraltos, you'll see similar, but not the same, abilities. Her voice is not rare, it's absolutely unique, but we can calculate range related stuff at least. Any soprano (operatic class) is able to sing D6 and above, it's required part of range. But Diana sounds different, her sixth octave notes are too 'thick' for sopranos.

Just a note for the DDD family: Diana Ankudinova does not speak English. She has sung in seven languages. This song just goes to show, there are many sides to her skill and talent. Try getting the family together for one or two of her performances from "You Are Super". I think you would all really enjoy "Wicked Game" in English, or perhaps "Rechenka" in Russian.
