these girls are just awesome Live. Saw them over here in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia last year and the 110% effort they put in has to be seen to be believed. Have been following them since I first saw them on YT in 2017 and they never disappoint, especially bearing in mind the struggle they have had in getting where they are now. Looking forward to their upcoming appearance at the Glastonbury Music Festival in the UK at the end of this month where I'm sure they'll wow their UK audience. Go VOB !

My other fav VoB cover live performance is Testify from RATM when they play in Beat Kitchen Chicago, it's a small venue but I can feel the intimacy and the joy from these ladies. Pure hapiness

Though I doubt this is what she wrote about, this song is deeply personal to me. I’ve suffered very deep depression all my life, at times to the point of wanting to end it. Never to the point of attempting, but just short of ready to do it. This song is the first time I’ve ever heard words in my 54 years that perfectly describe what I feel like when my depression is too much to bear. I would love to be able to give this precious gift to the world a big hug, not only to comfort her after an emotional performance like that, but also to thank her for giving me the ability to describe my pain and in that way confront it and defeat it. Probably buy her an ice cream, too.

If you want to do something really spiffy next time, and NO ONE else has done this, they released a 50 second video for Grief, the intro track from the EP. It does contain sonic elements that lead into the next video release, Masquerade. Doing both of them as a twofer would be really great.

As you seem to enjoy Pau''s playing as much as I do, once you are done with the Dakota performances, I would suggest to react to their short set at the Hell & Heaven Festival in 2018, that is on their channel. Not the best audio mix, but Pau was on fire that day.

They have mentioned that the decision to do a guitar solo or how long it is, is simply asking does the song call for it and will it add to the song in a way that fits it.

For the latest album they said they wanted to make a fun album. After singing about domestic abuse, murder, suicide and addiction etc they wanted light instead of dark.

It's crazy to think that you can go from the latest performances of a phenomenally good 18-year-old professional singer back to a live performance when she was 8, and it is _no less impressive_ (and some would argue, even more so). That is *Just Not Normal* ! I love both the new and the old. They have to be making modern sounding rock. But the older songs from their first album are just so damn good. I could hear that Stray Cats comparison the instant you mentioned it. And that trick of switching up the harmonies and basslines so they go up in the first verse and down in the second, or vice versa, is something they do all the time. It keeps it sounding fresh without even knowing why. Usually.

Not that Pau isn't dynamic and a beast. But young Pau played with a careless frantic chaotic ignorance. She didn't think about maintaining proper form to prevent future injuries, or wearing out, saving energy etc. She just played without thinking and it was amazing.

The concert that you witnessed was in Norway, shortly after Angelina won Norway's Got Talent. I can't give you a percentage of people who didn't know her in advance. But what I do know is that after winning the competition, she became the national treasure of the country. I don't think there are many that didn't witness her winning on TV. There were interviews that followed on TV. So with that said, I would bet that a majority of people knew who she was. I think she was probably an attraction to the event as well. Loved the reaction Dad...glad you got to this one...a huge huge favorite of Angelina fans...this is simply beyond normal for a child and actually beyond belief for any singer I suppose, regardless of age. Her new releases with Toby Gad "If I Were A Boy" (there are a couple official ones), first release in a Cathedral in London, with Toby on piano for his Piano Diaries release and the second is Angelina's official release (different sound track) walking through the streets of London.
