She was soon young. Being the same age as Charles, she might would have turn her wedding into a sort of ",business " and both Charles and her would have enjoyed their " personal" life. She was 16 was she was dragged into this family. Way too young and not being taught properly how to act in this kind of family. Ironically, the Queen loved Fergie from the very beginning. And Fergie didn't have Diana's in elegance and class. The rest is history...

Very true! Well said! Charles was probably sitting in his seat and just cringing!! He probably thought " this is the woman I married? And this is my birthday present???" He probably didn't want to see a Royal Princess acting this way!! All of Diana's high kicks and splits were all done for Charles? Or maybe for applause and attention as usual! Diana would do really anything for attention including having the BBC follow her to landmines in Africa ( or personal events. ) Then Diana would complain that she was hounded! He had an incredibly fragile ego created by an affectionless childhood. She knew he probably wouldn't like it and went ahead anyway. She also craved the love and attention from others that she missed in her childhood. Yet, Charles had zero right to be jealous. It was a closed charity event with a celebrity guest, so very low stakes. Diana was a much needed popularity boost to the royal family, and he should have seen it as a gift. Stronger men, perhaps like his son William, would have found it amusing and even touching. We saw how he felt about seeing Kate on the runway. Proud, amazed, and deeply in love, which is what a spouse should be. In Diana's defense, she didn't mean it as a moment of vanity. She made a poor choice in an attempt to win the affection of her husband (whose affection she shouldn't have to compete for). In the ene, they were two broken people who took their pain and insecurities out on each other instead of finding solace and empathy together.
