Diana: The Inquest takes a remarkable look at the mysterious beginnings and proceedings of the British inquest into the crash of Princess Diana, Dodi Al-Fayed and their driver Henri Paul. The film highlights the important questions that the inquest aimed to answer.
Were Dodi and Diana engaged? Was Diana pregnant? Was the white Fiat Uno also in the tunnel that night connected to the accident? And the most important question of all… Was Diana’s accident planned and was the driver of the car somehow involved?

The day of Diana's funeral, the grief in the UK was so pwerful you could feel it in the air. Whatever happened in Paris, she was used to produce heirs for the throne and then discarded, by the man who is now King. The ordinary people are never going to forget that.

SPOT ON, Jennifer! These two pantomime 'monarchs' are ushering in DISASTER- ANYONE can watch the utterly disastrous state of 'Queen' Camilla's mind during the speeches at the gorgeous State Banquet at Buckingham Palace for South Korea's Yoon Suk Yeol ... The body language ... The constant twitching, fiddling, head-wobbling and frightened-rabbit eye roving; here, there and everywhere, showed a woman dressed in red; who was TOTALLY out of it, despite all the gorgeous rubies and diamonds to give her confidence!@@jenniferpalmer5130

@@nicolemurphy2629 Would love the thought it was so. What I noticed, is - Diana does not have any handbag with her, when they enter the Ritz again in the evening. Nor when they leave for Dodis apartment. (When they arrived in the afternoon she had sort of a Kelly bag with her.) Diana was one of the early mobile phone users - and she had hers by her side day and night - in case the boys called, I read (during that time). Also - every woman has some make up with her - a lipstick, at least and a little mirror, maybe. None of her belongings were found in the crash car - except for an earring. I always found that very strange.

As an American watching this, I do not understand the prejudice against Mr. Al Fayed. Wouldn’t anyone want definitive answers on their child’s death? Especially after his son’s partner thought she would be murdered? I think his reaction is the only one that has been rational. Losing a child is the greatest of griefs, compounded with mystery I can only imagine his agony.

What gets me is how long it took to get Diana to the hospital. I've heard it was because she wasn't stable enough to move but that doesn't sit well with me. I'm not a medical professional but I have family members who are and I know many first responders. The main objective is always to get the injured person to the nearest hosptal/trauma center as fast as possible. Time is of the essence. Look how many critical patients are flown by helicopter to hospitals in order to save their lives. La Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital, where Diana eventually arrived, was only 4 miles from the scene of the crash. The accident occurred at 12:23a.m. Diana was moved to the ambulance at 01:18, left the scene at 01:41, and arrived at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital at 02:06. 😪

I believe Diana knew that she posed a severe threat to the institution and she’d been told they were planning to get rid of her. I think that’s why she aligned herself with Dodi (unlike the latest season of the Crown suggests), because she needed someone with enough money to protect her and care for her. Notice that lately, the royal experts and filmmakers all want to paint her as mentally ill and irresponsible - as if she brought it all on herself. It’s truly sickening.

So, fragments of a rear light of a Fiat Uno were found at the site of the accident, eyewitnesses say they saw a white Fiat Uno at the sight of the accident, the papparazzo who said he was at the site of the accident, and whose white Fiat Uno had had a rear light replaced later set himself on fire inside his white Fiat Uno, but the coroner stated there was no evidence he had been murdered, and he did not believe the papparazzo was in the tunnel on the night of the accident. Seems like a weird set of circumstances...

Ever since I had watched the documentary on an Australian investigator's results of his own investigation I think everything points to the white Fiat. The guy painted it right away(red-there are pics), and he has never been interviewed...also there was the couple that witnessed the car speeding out of the tunnel with a large dog in the backseat of the car...they were not interviewed... I think the French did an awful investigation. I don't believe we will ever know the truth about the car 'accident'. Too many details covered-up.

The fact is the car crashed driven by someone intoxicated. None had a seat belt on. It’s simple physics the car crashed and their bodies were still moving. Further she had a tear in her pulmonary vein. It’s unsurvivable even if they operated in the tunnel. You bleed out into your chest. Yes I’m a nurse with 36 years experience and those facts cannot be changed. Further just because someone can walk while drunk is not proof. It’s called tolerance.

I believe that even though Princess Diana's death was considered an awful accident, there were aspects of the accident that were not fully investigated. For example, one or two witnesses said that during the accident or right after the accident occured there was a white Fiat seen speeding away from the accident. and donnayoung5133 above also said that there was a couple ( i'm assuming either married or boyfriend/girlfriend) said that the car speeding out away from the scene of the accident ( i don't know if it was the white Fiat or a different car altogether) had a large dog in the backseat. To me thats very interesting because thats a very specific memory. the person or person(s) who said this really need to be taken seriously and that lead followed up thoroughly and I mean "leaving no stone unturned". I can't say 100% that what happened to The Late Princess Dianna and her companion Dodi Al Fayd was indeed a tragic accident There is, IMHO a possibility that there is more to this story than we know. If this is true, I hope the FULL TRUTH comes out in my lifetime. Rest in Heavenly Peace to Princess Dianna, Dodi Al Fayd and Henri Paul. Thank God that Trevor Reese survived

@@lp.shakur It will smell as fishy in relation to how many fish you shove in and let rot. There are privacy issues that protect Diana re not handing the car over. You people don't think of this. There were bits of Diana in that car that could not be removed. This was not a pretty scene where a car gently bumped into a pole going 50 or even 100kph. It was doing 190kph. Cars are not tested at those speeds. Only Saab may have come close. You really want people who "can't" help themselves (because they choose to "help themselves") getting any spec of that car to sell off? A piece of seat cover fabric perhaps? Some leather with some blood on it? You think that would be prudent and respectful of her memory? And man, I know I'm no physics major, but if you really don't understand that the laws of physics override what a car is "meant to do" in accidents not at those speeds, I cannot help you. The way Diana tells it is like she was informed by someone inside the palace. She may have overheard something but at that point she was no longer living at the palace. Someone else knows about it. For Diana to be so precise about brake failure. I never believed that Henri Paul was drunk or that Trevor the bodyguard would have allowed Diana to get in that car with Henri if he was inebriated. Dodi would have never put Diana in danger. Diana may not have been pregnant but just the thought alone would have been enough to send the RF after her.

I remember hearing of that, too, so long ago. Also, some "fishily convenient" things: she died in the tunnel devoted to Diana, the moon goddess, at the 13th pillar, on, was it the 31st of the 8th month, 1997, at exactly what real o'clock ? -- Certainly, under the moon... To folks who study/ use numerology and have analyzed this, apparently it reeks of "fish'. Have also heard that a certain senior royal - who, shortly before he died communicated that he wanted to come back as a killer virus as there were too many people in the world (for the "elites" to control easily, that is), and (understood) remove a lot of us (and then, gee, we had the c-v & "lockdowns", as per, apparently. the Rockerfeller book "Lock-step") ---- have heard that that "royal" gave the UK Secret Service folks the "nod". One thing I discovered after investing 18+K hours researching so-called "conspiracies" when I was physically incapacitated & to keep my battered brain passively active, was that, after "due diligence" research of a minimum of 50 hours to usually hundreds of hours spent researching on each topic (and TWO topics in the thousands of hours), that ALL BUT ONE of the "conspiracies" that I studied, turned out to conclusively be "conspiraTRUTHS", IMO. And, Harvard did a study in the 20-teens that found the same thing - that 9 of 10 "conspiracies" were REAL/ TRUE. Where there's smoke, there's usually some sort of fire...

The Queen really hated Diana and wanted her gone. There's no doubt about it. The Queen believed that this was the best time as Diana was involved with lots of Muslim men and people wouldn't care much. But the Queen underestimated people's love for Diana.

I am convinced that it was not an accident. The driver was not drunk and it was proven. I am sure the royal family had something to do with it, namely Charles. Diana had a gut feeling that she was going to be in an accident. The scene was cleaned up too quickly and am sure that is one of the reasons that the ambulance took over an hour to get to the hospital that was a ten minute drive from the scene. Waited for the golden hour to pass. If she had been in the hospital her life could have been saved. It was so tragic. Happy for the first time in her life. Diana was a beautiful soul, as @kai88875 said in her comment above mine, Yes Diana had and was a beautiful soul as she is now dead. But i still miss her to this day. The Best royal ever. no other royal will take Diana's place. even her name Die- anna makes me feel said because she did die, far to soon, and still quite young at that time in the French tunnel. I have never believed it was an accident, because Prince Charles Married his mistress Camila so soon after his wife Diana was dead? I still think to this day, "Did Charles pay for some one to drive so fast in the French Tunnel and Cause her Royal car to crash into Pillar thirteen, a very unlucky number? I also read that all the people in Diana's car died that night, Her royal driver, her royal security officer, her police officer of Royals, when they drive a car. for a royal. i think think truth will come out soon one day.

First of all, she's spoken on leaking secrets about the royal family involving Prince Andrew. In hindsight, we all know how that played out. Also, God forbid she was dating a Muslim. The future kings stepfather could not be Muslim. Plus Charles couldn't marry old horse face while Diana was still alive. And they most definitely couldn't have a king on the throne who had a girlfriend and not a wife. The only ones on this planet that benefit it from Diana being dead was the royal family. Not those boys but the institution. Of course we don't have enough information to say that for sure, but where there smoke they're generally tends to be fire

One man in that French Tunnel also said Diana shook his hand, and she smiled at him, His name was Barry Albert Mannakee (1 June 1947 - 15 May 1987) was a police officer with the Royal Protection Squad and bodyguard to Diana, Princess of Wales. Mannakee was transferred from his role as bodyguard for Diana following what was described as an "inappropriate" relationship between the two. Mannakee died in a road traffic accident in 1987, leading to a conspiracy theory that his death was not an accident. An inquest found no evidence of this.

If she’d been rushed to the hospital instead of an hour and 48 minute delay in getting her to surgery, she might have pulled through. If she’d been wearing a seatbelt she might not have suffered such major injuries.

If they installed concrete dividers in front of those columns in the tunnel the crash would have been minimal instead of hitting a column head on.

@@whatadollslifein some accidents, the person needs to be stabilised before being moved. If someone is seriously injured, moving them can make it worse. It does a disservice to the French paramedics to suggest they purposely delayed saving her life.

@@SM-so8hh Except Diana was bleeding internally and they would know that from very low blood pressure readings and know they couldn't operate in a ambulance so they should have gone ASAP. You can do CPR in a moving vehicle. Three miles, one hour forty-seven minutes.

Yes the well known paparazzi whose car turned out to have been involved causing the crash stood out to me the most in this episode. Sounded way to coincidental. And then he himself to wind up dead in the fashion he did, really raised my eyebrow.

I have long thought that she had a death wish. Sorry but it makes sense; preoccupation with her own fate with weirdly specific fears, getting rid of proper security, driving without a seatbelt, looking out of the rear window and who in the car thought it was a solution to race? Sorry to be matter of fact but it is serious to suggest murder.

@@StStStS good reply but for " I have long thought that she had a death wish"? why do you think like that Diana had a death wish? why would she want to be dead? would she want to haunt Prince Charles? If Diana said that, I would be delighted
@StStStS
@StStStS 2 ай бұрын
@@JennyGoddard-tm6bb Perhaps it is a bit flippant to put it on KZfaq, but I think it was on her mind. She had rather burnt her bridges with the Royal family and was out on a limb with mega-unmanageable fame. The press were beginning to be very critical of her after she came out from behind the Palace walls. They did not give her romance with Dodi a good press as I think she expected they would. According to reporters she was talking about disappearing, getting out etc. She was reckless with her own safety. She had mentioned dying in a car crash, though she expressed it as a fear that this was being organised her ex-husband. She was not wearing a seatbelt. She was photographed looking out of the back window which would have encouraged the photographers to continue the pursuit. I assume she agreed to the driver speeding, though we can’t know that for sure. Hasnet Kahn said at the inquest that he warned her that getting involved in the Fayed family would ruin her reputation. I think she knew that is what she was headed for. Just my opinion. I also don’t think Dodi was marriage material and she may not have even been serious about him. Paul Burrel claims she rang him complaining about the trip and wanted to come home. But the fact she died so young and apparently hunted down has made her immortal. And yes has enabled her to haunt Charles in a way that I personally do not think he deserves. There’s two sides to every story. It is never fair for an ex to broadcast their version of events. There were enough holes/ discrepancies in Diana’s statements for me to want to read the other side of it. ‘I take fifty percent of the blame’ is a quote from the Panorama interview that the tabloids chose not to splash on the front pages next day. But she said it.

@@StStStS re an ex broadcasting their version of events-that depends entirely on what happened and if one person felt controlled and subjugated in the extreme.
@StStStS
@StStStS 2 ай бұрын
@@nicolemurphy2629 Possibly. But I guess that’s my point. Diana chose to portray herself as a victim for public sympathy. In reality her views were changeable. Yes she was only nineteen but she was keen to secure the position of Princess of Wales and played the part of a country-loving girl to win Charles. After the Wedding it transpired that she hated country life and they had little in common. It was not Little Red Ridinghood and the Big Bad Wolf. And in the end she was manipulating the press in a way Charles refused to do. They chose her side, so it’s her narrative that still sticks for a lot of people.
