"If We Hold On Together" is a beautiful ballad from the children's movie, THE LAND BEFORE TIME. Diana Ross sang the soundtrack song, and it became an international hit, except in her home country, the USA. So, when the talented legendary singer, actress, writer, producer and businesswoman, Diana Ross went on tour in the UK and other European countries, she took this popular tune out of the dust bin to perform it live for her devoted overseas audience. When she returned to the US, she retired it in favored of "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)" that barely scratched the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. Ironically, it has since become one of her most popular iconic signature songs. On October 1, 2022, the last night of her grueling 2022 concert tour, she graciously performed it for her appreciative fans at her Las Vegas residency at the Wynn Encore Theater. There are no words to express the graceful beauty of this song. I don't think I have to. If you heard this song before, you already know.

omg. This is one of my favorite scores of any movie from the most devastating movie of my childhood. I only look up anything about it now and then. OMG, she sung this in the USA. She looked good and sounded even better here. I dont understand why she won't sing I' Getting Ready For Love from the Baby It's Me album. That song was played in regular rotation in the USA and it will be a different spin on her show and her voice can also handle muscles.

That would be great, but she’s never sung that live as far as I know. I think Too Shy to Say was the only song from Baby It’s Me that she ever sang live, and that was in 1978-79.

Gregory, no the USA has suppressed her music now for a long time. It was a miss and mediocre for the USA, but not for the rest of the world. It was a global hit that is still in very popular demand when she tours globally. It was a song from a children's movie produced by Stephen Spielberg in 1988, " The Land Before Time" in which she re-recorded it in 1991 on her "Force Behind the Power" CD. However, most people are considered to be indoctrinated by what is shared and told to them by a group of people who can influence a lot of the Masses if you do not think rationally or for yourself. It's called being under exposed. I'm sure if it was played millions of times by USA radio then you would be thinking differently. That is why 80% of the songs that you hear on the radio are mediocre at best, but the people who control the music industry will have you think that the music is fire🔥 because it becomes repetitive and it's drilled in your head that it's a hit when it's really not. Learn how to appreciate good music and understand what's good and what's not. Get educated and become unindoctrinated. Be well, sir!

@@carmelbrowngqdetroit6149 I can’t add anything much to what you wrote because you’re right on the mark. This lady continued to be Pop Royalty globally when her own country all but disowned her. On her recent tour here in the U.K., “If We Hold On” was unbelievably well received and brought the house down each time she sang it…though to be honest, on the several nights I saw her, she brought the house down just walking onto the stage. She was long overdue in arriving in the U.K. for a tour, and selling out to 20K+ audiences. At 78 that’s quite some incredible achievement.

Hey jonsa, I'm glad that you recognize! Yes, I agree, she was overdue for entertaining you guys there in the UK. Although, I was born in the early 1970s, I am well aware decade by decade how you guys have always supported her very heavily throughout her career, and help kept her career vibrant throughout the 90s as well. You guys supported the Force Behind the Power CD unlike the USA. I'm a born Detroiter just like her and thanks for supporting Ms. Ross. Most of all, thanks for recognizing good music. 💯
