This brought me back to when I watched the show as an 11-year-old boy. Of course, I didn't know who she was back then, and what the song was about. I can't even remember if I enjoyed the show all that much. But hearing this again some 30 odd years later made me tear.

She had a cold, i could barely talk when i have a cold, and she sang a whole concert. She did great.

I think she did damn good. She doesn't lip sync or use auto tune. Her performance was not flat at all. I've studied music and I have a pretty good ear. She has been singing 50+ years and will have raspy moments with her voice. I've seen her recently and vocals were top notch and 6+ clothing changes and never broke a sweat at her age. I think she is divine. A true performer.

One needs to separate the art from the artist. Diane Ross was Motown's "Queen of Mean," The Supremes' "Pig in a Wig," and Berry Gordy's "Ho in a Fro!!!"
