For all of the negative things you hear about Diana Ross (most of which stems from her 20s and 30s when ALL of us were still finding ourselves) no one can ever accuse her of being a bad mother. The love she has for her children and the love they have for her is almost tangible. For an iconic entertainer to still have a hands on relationship with all of her children speaks to a character far more capable of caring about others than some people would have us to believe.

I first fell in love with Diana Ross watching her 1979 Caesars Palace Concert in Las Vegas on HBO. I remember Tracee refusing to sing "Reach Out and Touch." It's so moving to see her, years later as an adult, willing to sing on stage with her mom. BTW -Diana looks beyond fabulous.

That was so amazing to see. Couldn't help but get a little teary eyed when Tracee went in for that embrace. I'm 40 years old, and there's still nothing as comforting as a "mama bear" hug. But I completely understand where she's coming from, no matter how good a singer I was, if my mom was Diana Ross, I'd be scared to sing too. Awesome that she found success in her own way. We need more classy, positive, role models these days.
