Diana Ross' Q& A session at her Wynn Encore Theater appearance on June 12, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV provided her fans with a surprise that we have been waiting for since 2012. After a few false starts with simple questions like "What do you like to eat?" and "What do you like to wear when you're not on stage?" Someone finally asked the solid gold question: "Will you be making another album". Instead of being coy, like she usually does, Diana Ross announced that she is planning to make another album at the end of the year and that she is in talks with various producers, including Mark Ronson...the man behind Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Adele and many more. Then during her finale of "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)", her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross came out and embraced her mom. What a special evening.

THIS Diana Ross is the most relaxed I have ever seen her and I'm loving it. I got to spend a day with her working on a photoshoot back in the 90's with Harry Langdon Photography. Diana was nice, and we teased each other. and she handled it without skipping a beat. We made each other laugh. She was very, very glamorous and she had a huge entourage with her to handle wardrobe plus she had 2 makeup/hair persons if I remember correctly. The first thing my friends would ask me about working with her in the studio was how did I address her. Did I call her Miss Ross? I was introduced to her by the photographer who has worked with her many, many times, and he introduced me by using my first name and that I was his studio manager, and he introduced her to me as Diana. So, I called her Diana and she called me Scott. People asked if she was anything like her reputation... do you have to walk backward out of a room so you don't turn your back on her? NO, not true. Was she a bitch? NO, not true. We had just moved into the studio and not everything was set up and ready to go and she didn't complain about anything-- she was nice and she was professional. However, early on in the day most of her entourage was standing around in the studio area, yet the large wardrobe racks we had set up in my office, which was large enough to accommodate the wardrobe and much more. My office was embarrassingly large.* But all these people are standing around chatting in low tones, so it was a low muttering and you couldn't tell what anyone was saying. Diana said, loud enough for all to hear, "If you don't have something to do in this room and you are just standing around, GET OUT." and they scattered like cockroaches who just had the lights turned on them. My friends asked if I left too,. NO, she wasn't talking to employees of the studio, and I was the studio manager... so, no, I did not leave. At one point there were feathers that had fallen on the floor and Harry asked me to get them... but you can't walk on the floor because t would get dirty so I had to crawl on my hands and knees and I have a picture of me crawling at Diana's feet picking up feathers-- it's funny. Another thing that happened was that the song I Feel Love came on the radio and I turned it up. Diana's reaction made me laugh while she pointed to cassette tapes on the floor with the toe of her red sparkly pumps. The first thing I did when I got home that night was to call Donna Summer and tell her who we photographed. Donna wanted to know all about it and she laughed at Diana's reaction to her I Feel Love and took it in stride and with a laugh. Donna loved Diana but they didn't really know each other. They were at the same party once and Donna went to meet her but Diana was engaged in conversation and Donna didn't interrupt. Donna told me the first time they met was at a Diana Ross concert and Donna made her way up to the stage and Diana handed the microphone to her and let her sing a line in the song and Diana looked at her like "Oh No You Don't" and took the mic back. A few years later Donna saw Diana sitting alone at the airport in London and Donna walked over and introduced herself and Diana invited her to sit with her and they instantly became friends and stayed in contact. Donna Summer was the first person Diana called and invited to perform at the DIVAS Diana Ross Tribute show, which Donna was happy to do. VH-1 did not give Donna a tribute show, but they did do a full-length concert of Donna Summer which included making DVDs of the concert and it airing on VH-1 and a CD and singles, etc. * About my huge office: One time Priscilla Presley was in my office and it was her birthday and the phone rang, so I ran in to get it but I find Priscilla sitting on my desk and she had answered the phone-- she didn't know how to put it on hold or transfer it so she handed it to me. She apologized when I hung up and I told her that it was really funny because the person who called had no idea they were talking to Priscilla Presley and I told her she was allowed to do whatever she wants to do because it was her birthday. lol Priscilla Presley was very beautiful, naturally. And she was sweet and funny and we did a photoshoot with her for a product and we had a hand model there who was sitting kind of beind her with their arms sticking out of her dress sleeves so they looked like her arms.... it was complicated and the two women were in very close, intimate proximity. Everyone professional and fun. I hope people found that fun to read...

@Linda Hines It’s none of your damn business what kind of person she likes or what colour they are. Breaking down barriers of colour is to her credit. You just said that you don’t give a “dam” (you need to learn what a homophone is) about Diana Ross and yet you’re all over her videos being bitchy and nasty. That says to me that you DO care about her, albeit in a negative way, because clearly she bothers you. You come across as a really bitter and jealous old woman....and a sad one at that.

Lady Blue She just private i don't blame Tracee for being private with her relationship aint nothing wrong with being private that way nobody could get into your business and start spreading rumors and twisting your stories around like they always do

Lady Blue cause the Question you just ask what's really going on with her why it got to be something going on cause she is single that question you ask the first thing you said is what's going on what are you trying to start

The questions these audience members asked her were a bit dull. I would ask her if she ever considered re-uniting with The Supremes (Mary, and one of the latter era Supremes) and doing a show that re-enacts the vintage Detroit-era Motown sound and style? I would think that concert would be a block-buster. She's indeed a legend as a solo act, but she arose to that level because of her massive success with two ladies by her side. To be honest, I could care less about her singing "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" or "I Love You More Today Than Yesterday" etc, and she has sort of sung "Reach Out and Touch" to death at this point even though it's one of her most inspiring songs, but I would love to see her with her Supreme back-up singers doing faithful re-creations of "Where Did Our Love Go:" or "Baby Love" or "Love is Like an Itching in My Heart" etc. BTW, Ms. Ross, your Hollywood Bowl show a few years ago was fantastic!! That band was on fire!

Wow. Lots of talking and talking. I’ve never been to a concert where there was this non-performing. Even for the whole last minute, the song was covered completely by the background singers. I guess it came off better in person?.

To My opinion who call Mrs Ross a heifer.are you Donald Trump racist child... no brain no class pure trash. Just jealous because most black women age with grace without having plastic surgery done everywhere because if she would have had any plastic surgery done she surely would not look so healthy and young

It's all an act..on stage she is delightful..but when fans are paying money to see her and they're all worshipping her, obviously she will be nice, but off stage she is horrid.
