I remember that Marvin living in Ostend, Belgium for a year before he died in the US (he composed Sexual Healing in Ostend at the seaside), met Diana Ross on one of the concerts I organized in Brussel, Belgium. This was truly a fantastic reunion and Diana and Marvin sung a duet during that concert. I will always remember that!

The Television was playing and everyone in there heard the announcement too. We all looked at the TV for a brief moment of silence. I ordered a bowl of Beef fried rice that day. That sad moment etched in my memory since 1984.

This was beautiful. They put the wrong year for his birth though,its 1939 not 38. RIP I'll never forget when it came on the radio that he died because we thought it was an April Fool's day joke.
