It has a lot to do with the hold on releasing the rights to his music. A couple of years ago, a stage play called "My Brother Marvin" came out ( Keith Washington as Marvin) but the family didn't relinquish the rights to use his songs, which took away from the whole concept. The same things happened with the Whitney Houston movie and the Aalyiah movie.

Always listening to his music, amazing songwriter who gave many other songwriters inspiration to write, sing and dance. He will never be forgotten as his music moves in to the times and future along with some other Artists as Michael Jackson. The clip is from a Diana Ross concert. Marvin was in the audience and Diana handed him the mic to sing a few lines. Sadly they never actually performed a live duet together that was recorded on tape. They recorded their vocals at different times for the 1973 Diana & Marvin album as Marvin was constantly smoking dope in the studio and Diana was pregnant at the time.
