I really love watching your videos. I always learn so much about Chinese culture and food, foods I never even heard of at times. I would look them up out of curiosity and wondering what health benefits they had and would be amazed every time. I wish America was more like China in some ways. America is very industrialized and there aren't as many farms as there used to be. There are more corporate farms then there are family farms and corporate farms don't care about doing things the natural way so fruits and veggies grown in America aren't as healthy as they should be...unless you grow your own. I live in Michigan and farms were real plentiful here at one time...not anymore 😕 if there were more farms food here wouldn't be so expensive. And if people were more open to sharing and helping out others there would be less that go hungry. There are those who complain about China, but China has such a beautiful family oriented culture. Sure there are issues...every country has issues, and Sure the government may be wonky...but America is in no position to be throwing shade on any countries government 🙄 the people from my experience and from what I see are often good people. It's pretty amazing that all her videos are shot and edited by Penjie and her sister without any other assistance. Film school students could learn from them. Go to 10:24 and you will see a cat in the background as Penjie is chopping the chicken. To include that in when they could have easily left it out is just brilliant. It's those small homey touches that make her videos so loved by so many. These videos are just a feast for the eyes and ears.
