Teaching this is really important. There are a lot of people out there that don't realize they're breathing incorrectly.

I agree wholeheartedly. It has helped me a great deal in recovering my singing voice after years of neglect after dropping out of the church choir because of my inability to stand for more than a few minutes at a time. But physical therapy has helped me so much that I may be able to rejoin the choir soon. This video has further helped speed me down that road.

As a Taekwondo student and competitor, the way they teach us to breath is basically the way she explained in the video. After intensive training and by consequence agitation, we breath by inhaling by the nose and exhaling by the mouth. This will dramatically cut the time to reach a recovering state. The technique has many uses; She knows what shes talking about...

Thank you for helping me, I have been short of breath and even though trying to take deeper breaths I feel like I'm never getting a full breath and realised Ive probably just been breathing shallow with my chest only. So thanks for the help 😌

listen bro, I was "struggling" to breathe for like 6 days, I felt like my lungs couldnt expand enough to get a satisfying gulp of air. After 6 days of deep difficult breathing (short of breath), I started breathing wayyyy "shallower" It took about 2 minutes and now I feel much better. When you try to take deep breaths constantly you're hyperventilating, you have to calm down and focus.

well, I can't think every sec on this. I forget about it and breath shallow and fast or forget breathing at all and then suddenly a deep breath and things like that. I have emphysema.

@Djalitana it wont matter that u forget when u first start doing this .. just practice regular and after a few yrs u will no longer have to think about it and will naturaly breath that way .. after 14 yrs of breathing this way i now have to try hard to breath using my chest :) it just feels un-natural ..

Deep heavy breathing, breathing in so slow and deep focus on one point of the floor on your hands and knees, put your fists on the floor and focus on your clenched fists. Do not break focus on the floor continue to breath deep and heavy push the breath in and out. Focus on shifting the weight of the floor with your fists. Alternate left and right brain. You are no longer on a flat floor you are slanting left or right. If done correctly without broken focus you just had and open eyed manual obe.

Thanks for the video! Quick question: I suffer from REALLY bad panic attacks so I'm curious how fast would this technique take to stop or reverse a panic attack? Thank you!

likely it will help you calm down quickly but each person will have different effects
