I got this a few months ago and it's quite addictive! I don't know why more people aren't talking about it/doing playthroughs, especially when a lot of people ask about games they could take travelling and set-up, play, and pack away quickly. 🙂

I've always been interested in these types of a dice game. This looks like an amazing game for a filler. Fast set up and quick game play for when you just want a quick game or two.

It runs very smoothly. The monsters are all the same, but them coming out in different combinations adds the needed variety. Characters also easy to understand.

Has elements of one deck dungeon and five minute dungeon, but with more choices and dice mitigation. Looks fast and fun.

One thing you didn't mention was that the game is just like me...cheap! lol I like the idea of a quick playing dice chucker that doesn't cost many pennies! Thanks Jason, that was a brutal turn of events. Also, the Dice Gods had decided that fate of the heroes was sealed. So mean of them not to substantially improve all but a couple of rerolls. I suggest you offer libations of wine and sacrifice a rubber chicken to them.

Seems like this game is in between printings. Most places I checked are sold out and the few that aren't are priced over MSRP. Hopefully WizKids replenishes supply soon because this looks fun!

I always had the idea of a board (card) game played with a DnD dice set and fınally it happened but it is a filler :(

Bardsung uses D&D dice and is a massive campaign game.

@@dextersamson8286 It has some rough edges but I wouldn't say it sucks. You can fix the #1 problem (too many Nodes per Chapter) by only playing half of them and doubling your XP gain. The combat is solid, there's decent enemy variety, the progression system is quite good, and the Fables expansion adds a lot more enemies and heroes into the mix.

I’m wondering where Bairnt stands on it now (he did our video for it). I think he really liked it at first but maybe started to find it repetitive later…

This is a great game and the sorceress is pretty powerful if you save those +/-1 magic items for her. I had a game with her and the wizard and won easily although I rolled a lot of natural 8s and 10s. My win % so far is about 80 after 8,9 games.

Great point! Whatever little dice manipulation should go to her, not necessarily the monsters.
