+Raiti's Rides haha close! Not quite the RS3, but almost there Joe. ;) I love this platform and I love how aggressive they made the TTRS from what it used to be. I remember when R8 owners were pissed at the previous TT when it almost had the same performance. That 5 cylinder sound is so amazing, makes me jealous that we didn't get the MK2 Focus RS, but perhaps I can make up for it with the RS3. Perhaps one of these days you can convince the owner to take you for a ride and have a back and forth conversation? I'd definitely watch those videos!

I have an 09 TT the first year they changed over to the new body style and it's the best car I've ever owned. I get so many compliments every day. It's a really amazing vehicle

Man, I owned a 2002 TT LeMans edition Red and silver interiors. Beautiful car. I always wanted to do all the stage 3 improvements on that car but honestly I did not. I bought a Z06 C6 Vette and it was pretty rewarding. I look at this car and wow. Plus I see what they are done to the performace side of things and this thing is a beast. I am thinking about getting me one. . .

It's good to see Audi steping it up. I remember I smoked an Audi tt back in 2008 with a stock 2006 Nissan Maxima. I played with that car for like 15 miles on the highway. Apparently the owner couldn't just quit and understand his car just couldn't keep up. That was back when I was younger and careless of course. Nowadays I don't even own a car.

Fantastic car mate! My TTs mk2 with a remap and sports exhaust will hit 60mph in 3.7 secs.My interior is nearly the same apart from the temperature display on the vents and the computer screen in the middle of the dash behind the wheel.This is one of two cars I would trade mine in for 😊🏁🍻

Audi is VERY serious about taking their brand above an beyond their German competitors by 2020. Whether they manage that I somehow doubt it but the mere fact they are serious about it shows in the quality finish of their vehicles, performance across all models and different model segments. Audi is an awesome car and a manufacturer that is going places and you would be doing very well to consider one of their cars.

Too bad Audi has stopped taking part in rallys. They were the first to implement 4 wheel drive when the rules was changed to allow 4WD. And they dominated the rallies with their 4WD and inline 5 turbo engine. Volvo also did used the inline 5 config in the 850R station wagon sleeper car but now Volve ditched the inline 5 for inline 4.

Those brakes are actually 8 pistons and has only single zone climate

It’s a Saab motor. Ford has been using them as well. Nothing new or special about it. Prone to heads warping If you push the boost up too much.

Test drove one of these. Very fast and a straight line projectile. The cabin is quite small. Good car but didn't feel special enough for the money.

These cars had a rep for flying off the road but I assume the wing fixes that. Interior is really good for the driver. I don't think the passenger can play with any controls and enjoy pushing buttons. My cat Toonces could drive this car at 10/10ths and rip it.

It doesn't look like a chick car anymore that's for sure.... this thing is nice. Imagine if Subaru used an engine like this and the new STI would be 400 base HP.... That'd be SICK.... They need to move the STi to 400 HP and the WRX could go to 300. This would balance out the market for Subaru because as of now they are getting dwarfed in horsepower as of 2018. It's not that it's still not fun... but look at Ford.... 300 HP Mustang ecoboosts... The retired Focus RS.... 350 HP...... That's where the STI should be now....

The seats really do look nice, but regards quality, you cannot compare them to Porsche seats. If we were to look at previous generation TT, the seats start becoming creased at the bottom side bolster after just 5000 miles which makes them look ugly and questions their material/leather quality. Whereas Porsche seats look brand new after 40000 miles and just slightly worn after 60000 miles!
