In a recent interview with Cigar Talk. Derek James revealed why he's not looking back when it comes to Errol Spence. He revealed the last time he spoke to Spence... and what they spoke about.
Rumors have been swirling around on Twitter and KZfaq that Derek James and Errol Spence have split... and have gone their separate ways.
Rumors are also circulating that Derek James is suing Errol Spence for unpaid wages.

Now that it's going to the court system he probably can't talk about it, or DJ told the interviewer that he can't answer specific questions about his & Errol's working relationship

Spence was talking to me. I come from the boxing movie industry and I am a talented athlete associated with Spence. I’m pretty sure Mr. James was just standing up for me because Spence and I have a romantic history. He later randomly lashed out at me like he used to do with his first wife

Two days before the Crawford fight, Spence was hacked, so when he called me, he got a message I blocked his number. You can confirm with other sources close to him. I’m just worried about my boxing career

I remember DJ saying that same thing shortly after the Spence loss when he was interviewed, about not looking back and keep moving forward… what’s the point of the interview if you’re not going to ask the obvious questions about what’s big in the news about his #1 fighter and himself. We need answers

Derek James seems to be one hell of a Shady Character. I wouldn't trust him as far as l could throw him, or as far as l could stretch out my hand. I don't like his vibes at all.
