My dear, late Mother used to work late shifts at her job as she supported our Family after my Father Died. She suffered THREE car accidents due to Drunk drivers over the years whilst on the road at approximately 1 a.m. It was terrifying constantly living in fear that she would not make it Home alive. 😢 I still now, as a young Adult feel phobic of driving at night because of it. Drunk drivers are not individuals I can readily show mercy or Grace toward. Driving in such a state is VILE.

I killed someone while I was drunk driving in Vegas August 1986. And yes I went to prison for it. It took over 30 years for it to actually start to sink in what I had done. It was like my brain just couldn't get it. Even all the time that I was in prison I was just numb. It was only till recently within the last 3 years that it really started to sink in what I had done. People think if you don't immediately show remorse you are a cold-blooded psychopath or something, but that's not always true. Sometimes your brain is just not able to deal with reality so it just shuts down somehow. I'm sure you would know much more about that than I Dr Grande. I've been seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist for the last 10 years dealing with a lot of other issues also.PTSD with Suicidal ideation or something like that?. You know the worst thing about killing someone is you can never tell them that you're sorry. It's too late. They're gone. That's really hard to deal with sometimes.😞 Don't drink and drive.

The apple did not fall far from the tree. When I lived in St. Petersburg Florida, I worked for an upholsterer. A diner in Clearwater wanted their booths redone. Hulk Hogan‘s wife was going to have a birthday party there for him. It was very extravagant as she had bought him a 57 Chevy convertible and had a plane skywriting. When he showed up at 11 o’clock in the morning, he was so drunk he could hardly stand up. She even had several friends try to stop him from drinking but it didn’t work. After a short time he went out to the car and passed out in the backseat.

It sounds horrible, but back then Hogan was deep into this philosophy or something (very deep), that you create your own reality by your mindset. So I didn't see it as malicious, but rather, trying to look at it through the framework of the philosophy that he was deeply into. When it happened, it was like a facepalm kind of moment, knowing that that's really what was behind it.

The father can always "teach" or "preach" to a son, especially, the parent at seventy years old. The one "lesson" from the 2018 crash could be - don't be a passenger - take the wheel - and drive perhaps. Also, question: Will I choose water over wine..take the wheel and drive - catchy chorus line from *Incubus* from 1999!

It goes to show that money & fame do not guarantee wisdom or maturity. I think the Bollea kids "lost" both their parents the minute Terry & Linda started dating/ becoming romantically involved with their kid's friends. That is such a boundary-buster & huge breach of trust. I don't think it's possible to navigate being a role model & parent while actively in romantic competition with your children, adult or not.

I think Hulk genuinely loves his kids and wants the best for them, but Nick's privileged upbringing has ultimately been detrimental to him. He is not going to adequately learn the consequence of his actions if dad can just make them go away, or at least minimize the effects. You also see that Nick isn't really developing as a person. He raced drift cars because dad could easily bankroll the cars. At 33 Nick is apparently DJing at dad's bar. Is he really doing anything beyond riding on dad's wealth train? In a way I feel sorry for him -not for the bad he's done- because immense privilege and a lack of discipline has meant that Nick never really grew into an independent person.

Dr. Grande… Speaking of wrestlers with sons that committed crimes, I highly recommend the case of Brian Christopher Lawler, son of legendary Memphis wrestler and longtime WWF/WWE Commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler! The case in question is about his passing in Jail back in 2018, which his father Jerry had his Lawyer look at and found significant evidence (circumstantial and via observing the patterns of neglect/abuse by the Jailers’s protocols) that Brian didn’t “unalive himself” but was instead assaulted then m_rdered by the Guards/Police in his cell. It’s REALLY quite something. It would also be great for more people to hear about since Jerry Lawler only had him taken to the jail under the pretense that he would get help for his alcoholism and various addictions while behind bars as promised by the Sheriff. Hope you see this and your analysis of it! Also, great vid!
