So sad that she rather be "Mother God" than actually be a mother to her biological minor children, who she abandoned because they didn't make her feel special enough.

It is sad, although actually I think they were better off without her. A British boy has just been found at seventeen whom his non-custodial mother kidnapped and took to a cult at eleven. She was not as extreme as this one and he seems to be amazingly resilient, well-adjusted and eloquent… but he has completely missed out on not only secondary education but also having any friends in that time. If she’d abandoned him he’d have been far better off.

Actually leaving them was the best thing she could have done. They may be scarred but her disordered personality would've been worse imo. I hope they were raised by their fathers. Still a tragedy, but she was never a 'mother' that any child would benefit from

One thing I’ve learned as an old bastard: anyone who puts themselves out as some sort of spiritual guru will gain followers. Anyone. If you look at some cults that have popped up, the leaders weren’t even charismatic. They just insisted on their divinity, or whatever, and the followers accumulated. There are a lot of lost people out there.

I’ve had a couple of young women proselytize to me in a Walmart in North Texas. I really listened to them because I was concerned by what they were saying and how they were behaving. I gently pushed back on the strange interpretation of the Bible and wished them well. The unsettling vibe I got was confirmed when a friend of mine said she had been going to the “Mother God” church and was telling me the different things they were asking her to do (not have kids, join the church ASAP, give money, etc). Very controlling and I immediately recognized it as a cult. They were preying on young college girls, it was very sad.

It's really astounding and unnerving to me how people can easily fall into a cult, no matter how outlandish the cult's beliefs are, no matter how grounded and normal the person seems before getting ensnared in the madness, and become so brainwashed that they'll follow even the most ridiculous orders without question or hesitation -- even going so far as to kill or die for the cult if TPTB demanded it of them.

Out takes were a great addition! Can you do a video on what personality factors make people susceptible to joining a cult or MLM?
@nanoir28
@nanoir28 5 ай бұрын
Its a simple case of needing to belong to something and to feel needed. Humans naturally want to participate in something bigger than themselves. If it can also turn a profit than its a double whammy. Unfortunately the only ones profiting are the alleged "prophets" Cults are no different than MLMs. Their only interest is their personal interests. The only thing that differentiates the Cults and MLMs are the beliefs and ideology that they present. Basically they are both dogsh*t wrapped up in a pretty package😊

She was a cutie! Crazy what booze can do to a person's brain and body. I'm always stunned that cults are still a thing. I had all the sympathy in the world for the Jonestown victims as there was no awareness back then. Everything after that was on the consenting adults who chose to join these organizations. The kids, disabled & elderly dragged into it are the real victims. (Ma Anand Sheela currently runs some elder care & disability homes in Switzerland that still sport photos of the Bhagwan).

So STOP saying they lived in Crestone, Crestone has 129 Residence 2 -3 mile away from Casita Park you A hole, Casita Park has 0 to do with Crestone besides its 2-3 miles away .... Doc, what this Amy character very likely drank was home-made/boot-leg/bath tub "ionic silver" and not professionally made "colloidal silver". The key difference between the two is the size of the silver particles suspended in the water, colloidal silver has much smaller particles (nano-particles) which the body can more easily absorb. Haven't you ever seen the blue dude (RIP) from daytime talk shows of the early to mid 2000's? He too drank deep the home-made ionic silver and over time, developed an even more extreme complexion issue than the former alcoholic, narcissistic, MacDonald's manager/Deity.

Even colloidal silver should not be consumed in an ongoing basis as it destroys the gut biome. The good bugs in our stomachs and intestines are killed off with the baddies. Once your gut biome is destroyed it is common to loose all appetite which could also explain her skeletal frame. Colloidal silver is great as a topical treatment for injuries and skin infections. It can help with inner infections as well but only as a short term aid.
