I think young girls are having babies looking for purpose and love. Thinking "If I have this baby, it'll give me something to do, someone to love who will love me back & also I'll get to have a piece of this man/boy". They don't realize there's SOOO much more life has to offer than "baby mama".

Yup you’re SPOT ON! I’ve heard some of my close family members look to have children to heal them, think that’ll fix a toxic relationship/ marriage, think a baby will give them purpose and someone to love them. Stemming from abandonment issues, trauma and not loving themselves first and focusing on themselves first. And after the children are grown 20- 40* + years later they are still broken, miserable and empty inside. SMH

I’ve heard teen moms also say that if it wasn’t because they got pregnant and became mothers they don’t know what would’ve been of them because they were living a troubled life and they feel like becoming mothers stopped them from continuing in the wrong path... and I think it’s sad that they feel like they fixed a wrong with another wrong... and I say wrong because they had no business bringing a child into the world when they don’t even have their shhh... together. Now they are struggling with company (their kids) instead of struggling alone... why do people do this to kids??? Kids shouldn’t pay the consequences of their parents choices...

She thought he planned it because she thought she was so far out of his league/above him, that he would be grateful to have a baby by her. After her getting pregnant so quick and him barely knowing her, he could have told her the baby wasn’t his it was the ex or somebody else she was messing with, but he didn’t even question her. He got scared but he stood by.

Sis look Tony told you exactly how it is. That man may have made a mistake but he is no savage. Trust me i know when i got involved with a co-worker and someone i was not really feeling. As soon as i told him i was pregnant, he asked me what was i going to do, wanted me to get an abortion and brought the money to work. By the grace of God i was able to pick up the pieces and have my child. If this man is a good man and wants to be in his child's life don't give him a hard time. Please consider everything he is saying and ladies and gentleman please be careful who you lay down and have children with it will haunt you for a lifetime.

I served in the military and I agree with the reasons you say a lot of people join the military. The military is really meant for single people if you look at what you signing up for, it’s not to provide for a family at least when you initially sign up. I know things can happen where you end up with a family years after joining but that can be planned out and can work in your favor to keep you close by your family possibly.

This video is so convicting for me. I’m kicking myself for doing a man wrong who’s similar to the guy she’s describing. I had a party mindset, low self esteem & zero direction when I met a similar man but I was sooo young even younger than the young lady in the video. He wanted to marry me and treated me like GOLD and I wasn’t even able to wrap my head around what that even was. now at 35 I understand him so much better, realize I was safe with him and should have treated him better. Praying that I find one like him again as I prepare for marriage.

It’s because she wants to lock him down, knowing he’s a good man, he most likely will be faithful if he has those sort of values, while she can stay out in Cali and continue to date (cheat) and find the man she really wants, but she’s not sure she can find someone better yet. She might think if he finds someone else, it might take away some of the attention he gives her, and the focus will only remain on the child. She doesn’t want that. She wants him to want her, even though she doesn’t want him. It’s a selfish, narcissistic way of thinking.

There sounds like childhood pain from how she reacted to the abandonment. Not everyone wants to live the military lifestyle because he’s willing to change and maintain the discipline to follow the military structure says a lot. Let it go, sweetie. He could've told you to find someone else to take care of you while the baby was in your stomach. He was there and just scared because he's ready to step up, just frightened.

Emotional maturity is key to leveling up and personal growth but I feel not enough people talk about it. Yea lil sis was being very immature. All good though, that baby will get you right together and for sure start making you think wiser. If I could give advice I’d say try and work out the anxiety or anxiousness you have for the relationship with the dad. Don’t be on a string for him but you need to just have patience and if it works out then thank God. In the meantime just keep the focus on the baby with him nothing extra just healthily co parent with him. That will make a case for him warming back up to you, if not then so be it.

SOMETIMES it's because they're under the influence (notice I said sometimes). When you're under the influence you don't think clearly. Your judgement is clouded & that's why since my last unplanned pregnancy I have decided to leave things that cloud my judgement alone so that I am able to think clearly and make better choices that I will not regret later. On the other hand you have women that simply do it because they feel as if it'll keep a man in their life. Either way I'm glad I came across Mr. Gaskins channel and hope that women no matter the age can take heed and grow.

Great advice ! Sometimes you have to take accountability for your actions and understand you cannot always have the perfect story that you first imagined, especially if you've done mistakes of your own that had consequences which change the course of your life, but you can do the best from now on with what you have. You cannot expect him to treat you as if he knew you for years because you didn't build on love or friendship, but you can start building now and do the best for your baby.

People have s3x with strangers, dating isn't a prerequisite for it. Hook-up culture, casual s3x is real in America. It's a tragic state.

@@karamelbuttafly3624 IMO, “hook-up culture” & dating are two totally different things. If I’m looking at someone as s potential mate, I wouldn’t have that mindset to behave so recklessly. I don’t jive with this “hook-up culture “ because it’s only a means of self-devaluation. Maybe they started out as just a hook-up which is kind of what she was implying by saying she wanted to continue living the “college experience”. IDK but we see IRL and from this video what “hook-up culture” does to people and the community at large. It’s a really sad situation.

I loved how you broke this all down, enjoyed every minute of it. Yes, when women are in the wrong, they need to get checked too. No man is perfect, at least he was trying. Youngin’s stay off your back unless you’re ready to face the consequences!

Tony thanks for your ministry. So many of our ppl are moving without intention, purpose or discipline. Completely moving in emotion and immaturely bc we are not taught anything about relationships. Lord knows it took me so long bc i had no mentorship, poor examples and even worse advice from my blind friends.

This is definately wasn't a savage man, she really could've grown to love and value him because he was very much a gentleman to her, many women would give an arm and a leg to even get this energy from their baby daddies. That baby doesn't need to be raised in a single household if this lady isn't shallow and childish.

Another good video Tony. What a immature woman she is, a "grown girl". I hope she will look inward and learn from her mistakes and bad attitude and hope that young girls will see this and learn what not to do. God bless you Tony.

Am I the only one that thinks he still shouldn’t have done what he did with not contacting her for two months when he knew she was pregnant with his child? I would have strong grudges too lol. You weren’t there for me when I needed you at the most vulnerable time and now once the baby is born you want to make an effort. He’s the one that started the pettiness. It was his business and initial duty to reach out not hers.

@HeyyAshleyyy Trying to be grown, but acting like a child. She didn't even want him. She's mad at the baby's daddy because he stood her up 2 months ago for a zoo date.😆 What kinda mom is she gonna be? Then, with no job, no money gonna move to CA, the most expensive place in the US to punish him? 😂😂😂

Young lady stop playing games. You were too immature and ill prepared to even have a child. Be sincere and direct, genuine with him about what you want and raise the family you chose to start together. Yeah he had breathing problems! High anxiety dealing with the pressure of becoming a parent too young!! You should've shown empathy just as you want. Grow up quick.
