Hey, great video. Do you change your own oil, if so what oil do you use. I have a 2024 R and I changed my oil after 500 miles and I used Casrol edge, it seems ok. What's your thought's.

My wife bought a Slingshot two years ago and I was very skeptical at first, since I've owned Ultra-Classics for 25 years. I've since learned to appreciate the Slingshot as an exciting alternative to motorcycles, in a unique category of their own. The brake pressure switches needed replacement, which is common and I was able to take care of that in about an hour. The seat attachment points to the seat frame were pathetic and I came up with a permanent repair with the use of toggle bolts. I replaced the horrible Kenda rear tire with a Michelin Pilot Sport and it made a tremendous difference in drivability, performance and handling. I don't pay an awful lot of attention to the sub par fit and finish. Instead we're driving the daylights out of it and enjoying every minute of it...

It’s not a car so don’t expect car like fit and finish. I have a Harley and my 2019 slingshot. Polaris parts are higher than Harley parts. I’ve been a Harley tech now for 27 years and I’ve had less problems with my slingshot than any Harley I’ve ever owned. Harley’s break a lot . Lol that’s why I’m not a Honda tech. I bought a slingshot for handling and performance. I installed a DDM supercharger and man it’s a beast. The handling in the corners is amazing with these things

Only problem I've had is my brake switch and they fixed it. I looked up mu paint code and got mine as well.

Yes I’m with you I got the 2022 slr I bought off the floor and my alternator blew out on my second day driving it off the highway thank god I didn’t get hit but Polaris did fix it and extended my warranty smh
