My recommendation is devilbiss gti pro with te10 caps and liquid glass lacquer but loads of alternatives. Great job with what you have and 10/10 for effort and enthusiasm. Keep up the great work. Just a tip for next time, jet wash first and ion spray it, then rinse it off and then ion spray it again and rub it in all round, don’t spray and rub straight away because you scratch the paint with all the dirt

What annoys me is when I am selling a cat car people say cat S it's been badly damaged when they have not seen damage photos

Contrary to what you think, i think Copart has alot to do with the categories. Its too obvious right now that there are so many cat s that should be a cat n. Dont forget that Copart pay less for a cat s car than a cat n. Copart are only about one thing & that is money. I really would not be surprised if they have alot to do with it. I have seen them re categorise a cat s car to a cat b when they cant get the money for it. That alone tells me they have the influence with the insurance companies to take the piss.

Contact co part! I seen another KZfaqr rang them regarding a vehicle he brought and wrongly categorised it, and he had it changed!

Don't be hard on yourself! We all make mistakes, but most of all you have shown, your kind self, in doing the right thing with the car! That's worth the train trip, there are good people out there, like the the garage you borrowed the screwdriver from! 🪛
