I would suggest a slot system. The coaches first get to pick 2 players, the fans after 3 players, then remaining 10 players are picked from top all NBA awards winners from past 3, 4 or 5 years. So top 5 allNBA and top 5allDefense. These votes should happen separate and independent of each other at the same time. Any remaining slot should be given to any AllNBA players but voted by players already picked...

If there was a tryout, Kyrie would have made the team and they don’t want that. So they just hand pick the guys.
