Did SNL's Heroin AM sketch go "too far?"

Saturday Night Live is getting bad reviews for a sketch making light of the rising heroin epidemic. Do you think SNL went too far? Share if you do.

It was actually the funniest skit ever on SNL.. over 90% of those skits on SNL are trash not even funny... Heroin AM was the most well put together skit ever.

I'm a dope addict. I still found it amusing. Some people just to lighten up; maybe get high to remember how to have a sense of humor.

I was addicted to heroin after being put on prescription pain pills went through a hell to become myself and be productive again. Still I thought this was absolutely funny. I don't know if all recovering addicts would feel the same but life goes on.

Funny. Just like the e-meth. This is making fun of pharma commercials more than heroin. Half of our pain meds are technically heroin.

As a occasional Heroin smoker this made me crack up laughing. It’s funny and good to break stereotypes. We’re not all junkies that lay on the streets and rob people for a fix. Many live normal lives. Poverty is the problem not opioids...

its all about personal responsibility i can go but heroin faster and easier than i can buy beer or cigarettes which have in fact killed far more and continue to kill far more.
