also put in a vr6 alternator so that the battery doesnt go flat when using a 0gauge wire , a second battery would also work nicely , also wire the subs at 1 ohm to get nice power and bass controller so that you can control itn, but thats my 2cents

Wire the subs down 1-2ohm for more output watts from of the sub/amp. Those subs are barely moving. Pretty simple search a howtovideo on youtube. Or if they are already are you, must have that mono turned all the way down .Also that amp is rated at 2800wrms at 1ohm so Just see if your subs are wired to 1ohm because if they not they are probably getting less than half the power. The subs are a dual 4ohm 600wrms so if it doesn’t seem like it’s bumping that’s probably why.. Oh don’t believe wat you see on the amp 24000watts it’s just to attract the consumer always research the specs. Yeah try facing back. Should make a nice difference. Also you could hide the RCA wires behind the amp and then screw it down. Nice and tidy! Looking good though.

Running a 4 guage wire to a a 20k amp? You need about four runs of zero gauge from from to back 7-8 battery’s and two or three alternators.

I would recommend a Monoblock to drive your subwoofers (make sure about the rms rating on the amp to ensure it can drive your subs). A 4 channel amp would suffice for your speakers

Don't bother with 6x9's just get a 3way split system upfront thank me later. You will mess up your sound stage with speakers from the back woofers is fine as bass is non directional

Whenever playing open trunk, there is no force pushing the subs back down. This may lead to u blowing your subwoofer, playing with your trunk closed is for the best

Bro I'm in Durban, I've been watching your videos and following your build and it really inspired me to jumpstart my mk1 restoration. I visited Cape Town for 2 and a half weeks early this month and I really love the place. Its much better than Durban! I'm currently looking for mk1 old school fenders and it's a pain to find them, I haven't come across any at all in Durban and I really need them to complete my spray job since the car is in the paint shop. THose subs are barely moving bro not to seem like a hater mahn but who sold you this???its a very entry level system and in all honesty a piece of shit i was also this excited when i first hooked up a system and it was a Targa setup but also you dont even know what frequency the box is tuned to you talking about super wood here???you must know how that will correlate to the amplifier and speakers nevermind how the car itself will impact the sound i bet after the 1st day of running it that system was tired got distorted alot and you couldnt get the full potential outta those speakers and or amp if you want music and bass this is fine, if you want high performance car audio this is not the way bro this is why there are professionals who do this isnt for everyone you must school yourself before you wana teach others

Much appreciated for the advice though. But with all honesty I don't know much about sound and stated In the video, turn down the monoblock due to the vocal not being sufficient enough at the time. Subs do flex properly and I don't care if it is a Entry level sound setup, It is what I can Afford and I have no regrets owning it. No disrespect.

True but yet keeping most of the sound hidden is the main objective. Even by having a normal radio in the car and removing the face it will still be a indication of having sound in the car. So either way, it is best to hide the speakers.
