Decription (From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Ni... )
"The Five Nights at Freddy's series consists of horror-themed video games in which the player is usually a night-time employee at a location connected with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a fictional children's restaurant that takes inspiration from family pizza chains like Chuck E. Cheese's and ShowBiz Pizza Place. The restaurant has life-size animatronic characters that perform at children's parties. The animatronics wander the restaurant at night and the guard is instructed to watch over them. To progress through the games, the player must guard theirself against animatronics with a variety of tools. In Five Nights at Freddy's, the player can control the two security doors connecting their office to the adjacent hallways as a barrier against animatronics in the vicinity. Each night, the player has a power supply that depletes faster when a tool is used. If the power goes out, the player can no longer use any tools, and is defenseless against the animatronics. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 has different tools; there are no protective doors, and the player must instead use an empty animatronic head and flashlight to defend theirself against the animatronics. The game introduced a music box which must be remotely wound up on a regular basis to prevent an attack from a particular animatronic.8-bit minigames were introduced, which play randomly after death.
he player takes control of a young boy named Gregory, who is locked in a large shopping mall filled with murderous animatronics and must complete numerous missions to survive the night in order to escape. The animatronics found throughout the mall include Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf, Sunnydrop and his nighttime counterpart Moondrop (also known as the Daycare Attendant), and DJ Music Man. The player will also encounter other types of enemies, which consists of Vanny, a woman dressed in a rabbit costume, employee robots called Staff Bots that can alert enemies to Gregory's location if they spot him, and a security guard named Vanessa. All enemies will get stronger as the night progresses, so the player must adapt to their surroundings in order to survive. Gregory can hide to avoid enemies or throw objects to distract them. Running drains stamina and if it's low, Gregory will not be able to move very fast.
Do you like fnaf? What is the best Fnaf game? Fnaf had many Fnaf songs and fnaf animations and fnaf EVERYTHING. I love that word lol fnaf, it sounds better than Five Nights At Freddy's. why u reading this?? FNAF!!!
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is a 2021 survival horror video game developed by Steel Wool Studios and published by ScottGames. Roxanne Wolf is so hot. Never in the history of gaming has there been a hotter character. She is more than a robot wolf to me, she is a person. She is a little tease but she's basically my wife. The devs know what they did with that wolf. The aesthetic paired with her demeanor make her such an attractive character. Nothing gets me going better than a punk rock wolf chick. Every inch of her is so hot. Her thighs up to her midriff and her eyes. Every inch of her is perfection incarnate. I would save the game and let her catch me just to feel the intimacy between us. I crave more than lustful fantasies with her, I seek deep romantic involvement. The craftsmanship of her character surpasses everything I expected from this game. Her tone of voice and language choice formats her character. The choice of clothes with short shorts and the crop top which reveal her milky thighs and delectable midriff compliment her punk rock personality more. She is my wife, and nothing dissuades me from this

I feel like the state of Security Breach’s launch was primarily caused by some combination of the following four factors: -Scott’s unexpected retirement from the series last June. -Sony (Or some other investor) pressuring Steel Wool to have the game ready by the holidays. -The fans complaining about the lack of development updates and the delays, pressuring Steel Wool to get the game out faster. -Steel Wool setting the the initial release date way too early and/or being too overambitious with the game.

I feel like one way the angry fan issue could have been fixed would to have been to release a demo of the game. Release the first part of the game up to the door closing and gregory getting locked in. It could have helped soothe angry fans while giving more time to fix bugs. It's also ok for demo versions of games to be a bit buggy because we know it's still being patched but fans know what to expect. I do feel like fans had a part in the early release by threatening the company and kind of pressuring them to get the game out asap. The concept of the game is really good and with just a few more months we could have had a near perfect game

I think the fans could have had an impact, but it’s not only their fault. I think the fans could have put pressure on Scott, who was already dealing with issues based on the controversy from earlier on in the year. Scott still has a great deal of pull with whatever he does with the property, as evidenced by the constant starting and stopping of the movie, so I imagine he could have pushed Steel Wool to change things, add things, delete things, maybe early on, maybe much later in development. I don’t put complete blame on him either, but I feel like the constant promise they said of the game hitting 2021 because the fans kept getting upset has some bearing on where the game ended up.

The game definitely feels like it has about half the content that it was meant to have originally. Steel Wool are EXCELLENT devs and this game feels like it was rushed rather than poorly made. One of my biggest fears when a game like this gets bad reviews is that the devs abandon it. Being a fan of the series since 2014, I felt as though the security guard standing in one place getting scared had long stayed its welcome. On top of that, fans have been begging for an open-world title since before the second game even released. The game has a fantastic base. While there are many bugs, the concept of a pizzaplex to roam around in and us being able to positively interact with Freddy for the first time in 3/4 of a decade lead to so many good possibilities. And it seems like Steel Wool will not only make numerous bug fixes, but they'll be making content updates to the game as well. The memes and vids that have come out about this game take me back to 2014 and it feels really nice. I trust that Steel Wool will take the support people have given them and run with it.

@@MrJr1976 honestly i don't think it's that much of a problem the size they had planned, so much as the team being too small for having it announced so early. had it not been announced until like... maybe one year later or so, they would've had more time to work more at ease on it without the pressure from everyone to release it when it was nowhere near ready. small teams can work wonders but they need their time and the game being announced when it still wasn't close enough to being ready was not going to help

For anyone who's watched this video, I highly recommend checking out Dawko's interview with Steel Wool's lead development team. It might give you some insight as to why this game got delayed twice and the ultimate choice to release it in the state it is in. But to comment on the content in the video, I don't fault Steel Wool as much as other people do. Remember, Steel Wool is only comprised of a handful of people (i believe it's 20-30) who have only ever made VR titles, mind you, meaning they obviously had to work vigorously to get the release date they tried for before. Another thing: be grateful that we as fans got some kind of content to fill in for the delays. We got a cute little FTP game, multiple teasers and trailers, and even a little mini-ARG to hold us over until the date. It's not like BATIM, where TheMeatly has given us nothing since about a year or two ago, yet insists he is still working on it. People are making this out to be much worse than it actually is, and it's sad. The biggest reasons this game was delayed twice and released in this state are fans being too eager, the pandemic coming in, the dev team biting of a LITTLE more than they could chew, Scott's sudden retirement (even though he is still working with them and the others who are continuing the franchise), and Sony rushing them a bit to complete it on time for partnership reasons.

I honestly believe that this is mostly the fault of the big companies like Sony/Playstation. Like with No Man's Sky; they made it a big deal that this big and very anticipated game made by a team that's never worked on something of this scale before would release in their console and would not budge when it came to delaying the game. Security Breach *needed* more time in the oven, but the higher ups that had invested in marketing the game with trailers and all that stuff don't care if what Scott and Steelwool isn't ready. I'm 100% sure that Scott wouldn't have allowed Security Breach to release in this state had he been granted the liberty of choosing a release date that he'd be comfortable with. He's learned from his releases from the first Five Nights at Freddy's games up to FNAF World that rushing his games to please or surprise his fans will do him and the players a great disservice. If you've heard his interview with Dawko; you'll know that he doesn't take his fans for granted and that he learned this lesson the hard way when FNAF World was a failure at launch. I can critique Security Breach's design choices like "quality-of-life" features and its gameplay until the cows come home, but I don't question Scott's integrity for a second.

Yeah, i agree. Fnaf sb doesn't feel like the, you know the concept of "in a restaurant and have to survive five nights from animatronics" vibe. But...what makes me liked sb is because...this...could be a start of some sort of a new chapter of the fnaf series. Fnaf sb have a lot of potentials, and there's nothing wrong with changes. Unless those changes will take it too far, and it wont be feel like an "upgrade" more like "a different game" or some sort. And playing as a protagonist who has no connection with the Afton family feels really fresh and new, and i liked it. Being friends with freddy is also something brand new to me. Yes, the game only has one night instead of 5, yes the animatronics aren't that scary, yes the game is colorful which makes the game less scary, and yes the lore is a bit messy. But...every start of an adventure, does makes our head goes spinning, but we'll adapt to it. Fnaf sb brought me something that i have not seen before, the first ever giant animatronic, a giant mega mall that you can roam in, like i said again, gregory as a new character, and being friends with freddy. Fnaf sb sure doesn't feel like a fnaf game, but it could be a start of something new. And i think some fans are expecting the DLCs or more games will a bit like fnaf sb, but fnaf sb is really rushed and tbh..its not really finished. And i felt bad for Steel Wool

Basically moral of the story “If you feel like your game still need more work, do not rush it for either fans or money, just say to your fans It’s not ready to even be considered polished, because we want the best experience for your expectations.” I really love this game, the story lives up to the confusion of the previous indie title that the great Scott used to make. If steel Whole studios wants to be ambitious, tell your fans that “When it’s ready, we will create an early release time.” Love FNAF security breach. It lived up to all my expectations.

I think this is perfect message for anyone making an really cool game. Titles that released like battlefield 2042, COD vanguard, Halo infinite, and others, only sees the profit that is in the games, and nothing else and this comes down to the gaming industry. Battlefield 2042 was the least used potential I’ve ever seen. If the game literally was delayed for even a year It wouldn’t have had the very harsh press that it wouldn’t have gotten in better conditions. I can see the potential that 2042 want to show but it feel victim to rushed cash, release now, fix later. I’m only talking about the gaming industry as a whole to do better. If your game is not ready don’t think it’s going to work out fine. No game is safe from the minuscule of bugs, but the lesser there are the more enjoyable your game is. Thanks for reading my comments.

I heavily disagree on your that the "story" lives up to what the great scott made in the original franchise......buddy you have no idea honestly. What scott created has EDGE to itself, it's DARK, and not only that but brings sheer HORROR. To be honest i think SB fails the most is due to them getting rid of the horror ROOTS that resignated in the fnaf franchise for many years.....fnaf became popular due to it's creepiness and eerieness in the first place like it's the BLOOD of franchise. It is meant to be horror....and btw the story wasnt even that good at all, like vanny isn't really at all shown much as a main villain but is just THERE. The animatronics are just there to try and find you it's whole direction is child friendly to a degree that it aint even scary at all which makes things less engaging. Look....they're whole ambition thing is a good thing, but if they would have tooken the direction into a literal HORROR DIRECTION buddy it would have prospered much more.

Steel Wool is a VR company for the most part, so I can't really blame them. Security Breach was originally unofficially leaked under the name Pizzaplex, if I recall correctly, so they may have been pressured to even announce the game after this, and then it may have snowballed. In my opinion, SB is a phenonemal game outside of the bugs. The voice acting is great, the lore is interesting, and the game is still pretty. After the bugs are patched, it should be great.

For me, I’ve been a fan since the first game. Since the beginning. But by far, this has been my absolute favorite! It’s different, it’s colorful, it’s an open world, the characters are unique and it’s not all about jumpscares! I like how they gave the animatronics personalities and how they made them AI instead of possessed robots. I love how… Visually pleasing it is. Sure, the glitches and bugs take off some points, but it’s honestly very impressive considering this was made by a small studio. I know that a lot of people like fnaf because it’s scary, but I personally like it because of the story.. THIS game (though it is t obvious at first) has a real story we have yet to uncover. Considering how big, visually beautiful and creative this game is (compared to just being stuck in a security room and constantly being jumpscared) by far my favorite. 4 stars for sure! But I will respect if you aren’t happy with it because of the bugs and lack of horror, but I personally think (in numbers) that this game is the best. Open world isn’t an easy type of game to develop. It definitely needed more time. I still love it and hope for more games around this timeline!

i feel like a really good fan game that had the element of being able to actually walk around is joy of creation (which i assume steel wool took inspiration from as the endo skeletons moving when you can't see them is ripped straight from that game), and although it wasn't really open world, it was really well made and scary. I think security breach could've had a bigger focus on those subsections of gameplay like; the endo skeletons, the DJ, and other events in the game. The daycare is a good example of that because it actually feels like a part of the game and not just an event that happens. I feel like the game felt more like a mega pizzaplex rather than a flowy game.

This is one of those 7/10 games that gets rated as a 2/10 because of many bugs, and personal thoughts people have about the animatronic designs. This game is the most realistic FNAF. Why would a grand pizzeria (for Children) have scary ass designed animatronics right at the entrance of a mall? It's SUPPOSED to look kid friendly. BELOW the Mall is where things are very strange (endo skeletons, burned down old pizzerias, etc). People want every FNAF to be a 2D Jump scares game that you barely do anything on, no real map to explore, just spooky jump scares. This new FNAF aims towards a better direction for the game series tbh.

I really liked the game. I won't say it was great, far from it, but it was fun. I like the new format they're going for with this type of game and hope the rocky launch doesn't deter them from doing things like this in the future. Besides the game-breaking glitches and lack of direction and the maze-like rooms that had you questioning which way was up and which way was down I enjoyed it and loved the narrative they were going for. My personal favorite game-breaking bug was Roxy's Raceway not teleporting me to the bossfight with her and instead leaving me outside and after I saved there was no way to get back. I had to look up a guide on how to glitch down into the room which THANKFULLY was very easy to find. I did it in about 15min and successfully went on with the story without too many game-breaking bugs. Anybody else catch the bug down in the showers that forced all maintenance bots to not stop alerting Chica? I was constantly in a mad dash as she kept teleporting behind me until I made my way back topside. Terrifying as hell. Never going in that area of the map ever again.

The reason for the delays isn't them lying about release dates but instead I think they knew when it'd release but had sudden last minute changes each time (or underestimated the amount of time and work it needed) which isn't their fault but in fact shows they care about what the fans would want! Bad companies often shell out the first thing they stuck together and don't deal with release dates or lack any show of improvements and hype during the delays before it's released, steelwool very obviously tried to make it the best they could but with the constant delays and changes this was hard for them. They're also more used to VR games which are WAY smaller than Security Breach ended up being and included more programing and stuff, they entered an area they aren't an expert at and took on way too big of a project..they didn't realize how big and how different it would be and it very much shows in the bugs and stuff! Plus they were likely pushed for release by higher-ups which is out of their control (like how you don't blame the pokemon game makers for the bad pokemon games but instead blame the higher ups who rushed them into making a poor game). The game is actually REALLY good for their first try at this especially whilst being rushed and changing things last minute to make fans happy (like changing the cameras when fans complained they looked terrible). Steelwool absolutely tried their best with what was throw at them and I think they deserve some praise for their work and even a little sympathy. Not to mention delayed games, especially multiple time delayed games, tend to come out a little buggy..just a sad pattern.

Thank you! I can not tell you how annoying it has been to see people blaming the fans when we literally were here just making 'never coming out' jokes. No one was actively harassing SW to release the game to the point of such magnitude that they had no choice, sure there were some fans that maybe put out 'Whens the game coming out?' on their twitter but there was no active group of fans or anything really big to push them forward. The game was mismanaged and way too big for the small studio and I bet you anything that partnering with Sony was also a big mistake. Clearly the game has a lot of love put into it, you can see in the damn details that we do have in the game that they cared about this. But their vision was much too big of a cake to bake. I'm honestly surprised Scott even let it get released, I understand he retired but he has yet to announce who now owns the rights and said that FNAF:SB would be his final contribution to the series (along with the movie that is once again delayed and in development hell). Clearly something else was going on behind the scenes that pushed them to release it in this state. My best bet would be Sony putting pressure on them to release for the Christmas time sales, and it sold well! But what we got was a buggy lackluster mess that doesn't even have a cohesive story because anything that was scripted to happen has 97% been taken out of the game. They never should have released any release dates, they never should have released the game like this and they should have hired more people to help with the games development. I understand that they might not have had all the funds but they were being funded by Scott, the man who gives about 5-10k for charities several times a year, they should have had more than enough to make a great game and stay on budget. They did great with Help Wanted, Dreadbear was amazing. So they should have stuck with their limits. Now with all that said I love SB, they just didn't do it justice and made a big mistake with development. I'm excited to see the fixes and what we can get with DLC (Though that DLC better be three bucks at most or free considering i paid 40 bucks for a full finished game), but I really hope they learned from their mistakes. This was a development issue not a fan issue.

The way I see SB, it is a sort of 'dipping a toe in the water' kind of game. I think the reason for the bad game is that they changed the whole game. If you Look at one of the trailers it was clearly meant to be played with Vanessa helping you and maybe even the robots by doing things for them. (In the trailer a voice that probably was originally monty's says "you will bring me what i want and if you fail me-" or something like that i cant remember the whole line but in the final game that voice is nowere to be found.) I think with more patches and DLC’s we can potentially make this work. The thing with Security Breach is that not only was it the only FNAF game that didn't come out several months after the previous game, but the promises were also so many. I understand Steel Wool took on a big project and then added more for everyone to enjoy & give a new take on FNAF. The problem is connected completely to changing the story that was originally planned. You can hear unused dialog in the game files and maps. It wasn't Monty yelling the original trailer it was Afton to Vannessa. All in all, I think that it is still okay to say that you working on a new game, but never put a release or expectation date until it is completely releasable.

I think the game is atmospheric, the story/lore is good overall, the animatronic designs and voice acting are awesome, and the game does have a lot to offer if you are careful with exploration. The collectibles are a nice way of rewarding players (before getting Roxy's eyes) with something that can be found in the area, upgrades to Freddy/more battery power/ faster running speed for Gregory. I have said it before in discussion with friends on Discord, but once this game has major bug fixes and hopefully slight changes to the FazWatch's explanations this game will become amazing. Markiplier still has the buggiest playthrough of the game on KZfaq, and I love the idea of speedrunners using these bugs to their advantage. Having an education centered around the game industry, I can say that at least one big problem with Security Breach is exactly how much data the game is forced to load at any given time. With the way security cameras work, the game has to load areas and objects that the player can't even _see_ and it doesn't seem to know what to do with itself. When a system becomes overwhelmed you start having instances where things don't load properly or at least take awhile to become stable, and stability is something the game _sorely_ needs. That's why it's so easy to bug out the environment and clip through walls; if it wasn't being forced to load so much data all at once, the window of instability would be too short for players to take advantage of it. Honestly? The game just needs a lot of optimization. There are a lot of corners that need to be smoothed out, and a lot of problems that need fixing. So far, Steel Wool seems to be up to the task, so I'm excited to see where the game goes from hereon out.

The game was definitely rushed but it also shows significant signs of scope creep and generally bad project management. Nothing due to extreme negligence, just very typical of a relatively new, independent development team. For example, being able to stump enemy AI by jumping on top of a desk *is NOT something to be solved in future patches.* It's a core gameplay feature you need taken care of in the first, minimum viable product version of your game when everything is still formatted as multicoloured cubes. Same goes for design decisions like the no saves at 6AM, that's a _very_ ambitious concept that should've been cut in the final hours of development due to the extremely buggy nature of the game. On top of that, the way the story is handled indicates while the developers came up with a solid concept, they didn't actually have a full proper outline of the story. Burntrap and The Blob were clearly planned from quite early on, but _WHY_ is the Pizzaplex on top of the Pizza Place sinkhole? _How_ did Burntrap/The Blob survive the fire? _What_ was the missing children stuff about? Zero of those questions will be answered or really adequately hinted towards. FNAF has been doing archaeological storytelling for its whole history, and is very good at it, but this is just an instance where it's being used to cover up a lack of a full story. IMO Steel Wool's best bet would be a *soft relaunch of the game combined with paid DLC being developed.* An update that solves as many of the game's design issues as reasonably possible, adds content behind the Security 10 doors with lots of bugfixes, and generally feels like a "finalised edition" combined with a paid story expansion could easily revitalise the game.

I think what bugs me most about Security Breach is the rushed feel to it. Comparing the game to some of the trailers it's drastically different in comparison, with unused lines, and misused characters. Speaking of misused characters I saw a recent comment on YT that stuck with me. Something along the lines of Sun being planned poorly, he was an awesome addition but we only saw him once and that's it, poor planning for a character. The person thought up a cool senerio that you had to fight Moon in a fire setting and watch as Sun and Moon battled each other for control due to the fire messing up their programming. Other characters that are a victim of misuse is Vanessa and Vanny, they had a lot of build-up between VR and AR but they kinda fall flat in this game which was disappointing. Another thing that is that the censorship hurt this game as well, making the 'Broken' scene confusing and disarming Vanny making her chase Gregory in a goofy sprint. I personally liked this game, the FNaF franchise had it's ups and downs with it's games, I know that 3 and 4 are disliked among fans, but I'm sure that this game and franchise will pull through.

Something that people forget is that the game was prepared during the pandemic, which means that not only was it preparing the game, but they had to organize to work remotely That possibly affected the game since they did not have the same speed to communicate and make agreements in the story or the mechanics of the game. Also there are generators there that I switched on countless times and they don't do ANYTHING. A main issue is it’s scare factor. Simple make the building look more broken at night, it’s running when it’s not supposed to so make it have the lights be flickering, some being on and some not at all. For the animatronics make their voice lines more buggy, that way it’s more convincing that they are hacked and make them. For their animation make them have an order walk cycle with appropriate sounds to alert the player of their presence and to raise tension. Imagine a very dark Monty gold course while bidding from a Monty slowly dragging himself along while saying “you can run but you can’t hide” would be terrifying as you hear his metal feet scraping across the ground. Another animation for Monty is him scraping his fingers on a wall or suddenly attacking objects while the player in darkness has to listen to the mayhem he is causing as they try to think of how to get out. This would make the game a lot scarier. TLDR: darker, buggier(behavior for animatronics) and more noises.

After playing 12 or so hours of Fnaf sb, I would recommend the game. The only problems with bugs I had were when I was actually trying to glitch the game. The only problem I have with the game is how vague the fazwatch is. It can make a part take an hour when it should take like 10 minutes. Overall, I enjoy the game and I would recommend it if you do not mind bugs.

Not only delay it, but going FULL ON HORROR BRO because, fnaf without horror is a literal punk slap to the face of it's franchise. It was born into the element of dark, edgy, and scary ass lore......not this goofy, kindergartens special episode type of joint.

I personally like the game for what it is now, focusing more on certain aspects than others. I honestly wanted a break from the same old concept being reused in the series and even though the game has bugs, I don't really mind them. I still manage to get scared sometimes (curse you map-bot) and it's evident that scary wasn't the main focus of the game.
@goddessbraxia
@goddessbraxia 2 жыл бұрын
agreed, I would argue that they sacrificed some scare factor for the sake of immersion and world building. I love this game because it felt like an actual place, and yeah it wasn't as scary, but The jumpscares worked just as well because It felt like I was actually there. rather than feeling like a person sitting at a monitor watching the perspective of a guy looking at a monitor. The Chica teleportation bug made her the scariest of the three, which worked to her favor (I feel her character was treated poorly compared to Roxy ad Monty) But my biggest thing, is this game is a lot more accessible to a wider audience. there are likely many people who loved the games for the lore and story rather than the jump-scares it's popularity was founded on. There is more to a game than just scares, or just story, or just character. every game is a balance. and not everyone is going to love the balance of all the elements. I personally love that the level of horror was dialed back, it allowed me to enjoy the game more. rather than playing, then going to external media to get the story because I didn't want to put up with the lackluster gameplay loop from my perspective.
@youngspecial64

The whole big "ambition" on it going traversal is a good thing....but still, taking away the element, the ROOTS, the BLOOD that made FNAF popular and loved for many years in the first place which is the creepiness, the dark lore, the scary and edgy stuff, and horror in GENRAL was a whole bad idea. If this game took itself seriously and takes horror SERIOUSLY especially the lore that this franchise brings out....buddy this game would have prospered a bit heavily, instead of it being hold back due to damn kids for they to get to know this franchise. Hell if you want it to be a game that kids can play aswell, then sure but dont change a thing to what the fans truly loved about this damn franchise which is it's horror element.

My opinion on FNAF Security Breach: I like the game so far, yet there are so much glitches in it. I can mostly see it through the cleaning bots, and I got stuck on a doorway one time because of it. It did help me win against Moon when he got stuck on one of the cans, but it became a nuisance when the bots keep giving away my hiding spots, making the animatronics keep coming back to my locations. The bots to me seemed more scarier (and more annoying) than the animatronics. I wished that the game was more polished and had the scenes and voice lines from the trailers, and I wish that the endings weren’t so vague. They could of made the main menu more scarier than it is now like the fan-made ones; I, myself, would of enjoyed hearing it having the song “I Got You Under My Skin” by Frank Sinatra, and I really wanted the animatronics to sing, especially the song “I Love Rock and Roll”. That’s my opinion.

I think the game is pretty good when you look at it for simply being a game, minus the bugs and such. Looking at it from a FNAF game view, it's a combination of too little and too much. Steel Wool simply wanted to do too much with too little time. The game feels huge, but empty at many times, with a lot of reused assets and game mechanics. The linear movement of the animatronics and lack of scary interactions kind of kills the FNAF vibe. The interactions you do have feel repetative, out of place, don't really have build ups, and feel incomplete. It doesn't feel scary either, and the story raises too many questions. I honestly think the game does not live up to FNAF standards, but it does to a normal game standards (again, not including the bugs). I would have really liked to see Steel Wool take more time on the game, and find better ways to keep hype going rather than the way they went about it.

At this point in the franchise, I don’t really care about the Gameplay anymore. I only care for the characters and lore. The game hasn’t been out for a long time, and they’re still ironing out bugs, glitches, etc. This game is way more different then any other game, it’s a way bigger map, and you actually get to explore the map (Forgot the term, apologies). I honestly can’t imagine how much work was put into this game, since it’s a new game concept. It’s probably a 50/50 split blame. Fans were too hyped for this game and did rush it way too fast, and pressured the devs a bit, but the devs should’ve also taken more time to work on the game instead of rush it to release. Regardless, it’s a good game, the lore is awesome, and the new characters have awesome concepts.

Well I personally do care about gameplay, free roam seemed interesting but it was executed poorly. The "free roam" in sl was executed alright, you had a reason to go from one side of a building to another but here there's literally no reason to explore the whole place here for a single reason if you know damn well there's security after you as well as several robots under posses of a serial killer. Couldn't you like hide in a charging pod and simply wait for 6 am. Also the fact the game about door and cameras being your best friend no longer is about fighting off killer machines with help of these 2 is dissapointing. Why they even implemented cameras in the game when you literally don't even use them? A robot can somehow protect you longer and better than a security office with equipment which is plain stupid. Also there's no elements of horror neither in the lore nor the animatronics themselves. You already can tell the gameplay sucks when map bot has the scariest jumpscare in the game which honestly feels like a joke in first place. There's no reason to be afraid of getting killed by a single animatronics when you can just call freddy or flash robots with toy camera and that's literally it. Not really to blame devs but they could have met their fanbase a bit better so they actually knew what we wanted.

I think the sheer scale of the game plays a part. It's easy for game developers to get excited about what they are working on and add more and more and more stuff to it in that excitement. I've done it before. They may have pushed for so much that when they stepped back and looked at it, it was simply too massive to feasibly get out in time. This is compounded with Covid and working from home, it is much harder to organise and communicate effectively when working remotely, and game development needs a lot of clear communication. I see people mentioning Sony may have played a part, I 100% agree, Sony would have put pressure that they normally put on game devs, because AAA studios can afford to hire more workers (and work them to death) to meet deadlines and have settled for lacklustre games that are repetitive because they can make them fast. Steel Wool does not have that same luxury. I also imagine such an open world game design was new to them, and because of it being so open ended, things just broke more than they could have anticipated. What I am GLAD to see is (1) Steel Wool plans to continue working on the game, so problems will be fixed over time, and I think a well thought out DLC could bring back fans that were lost in the launch. And (2) more people are becoming more willing to wait for games to receive proper TLC, and are more willing to wait out delays if it means that we will get better games, because clearly rushing them to the deadline has resulted in some bad games.

Generally my main issues with the game center around the animatronics themselves. I don't nessecarily mind the designs as they do have a nice aesthetic to them, though I think more could have been done within the game itself and especially within the animatronics to make their animations seem more realistic. Pretty much all of the animations have model clipping and instead of having a more mechanical and jittery set of animations to mimick how an ACTUAL animatronic would move, they instead seem to have animations akin to that of an SFM animation. They are a bit to smooth in my opinion and could have been made to reflect the fact that they are machines a bit better

I don't remember where I found it but there was the idea that the game was like 1 (real life) hour long. You would have to survive till 6 am at which you could leave the building, but during this time you could explore the facility on your own. You could have a game where you take a path where you dont get anything special, no faz cam/blaster, no destroying animatronics, just to leave without freddy, or you can explore the facility and start to find these secrets. I love this idea way more than having a linear story, I always thought this game was gonna be free roam, and it is but the tory drives you in a linear path until you beat the game, and then its free roam

To say Security Breach is a terrible game is a little harsh to say, as the devs probably busted their asses to get this game to release when they could. The problems that the game has can be fixed, sure the endings were not what we expected to be, but that's what makes Fnaf amazing. It's the lore, the mystery, and figuring it out that makes it good. We should be grateful that we even got a Fnaf game for how shitty things have been. I still like the game, and I can't wait to see what else there is in the future. Edit: If you're a true fan of Fnaf, you'd be grateful that we got a game instead of complaining about it not meeting your expectations. like some others have said I think there was a number of reasons (pressure from investors, scotts unexpected departure etc) but toxic fans was definitely one. Its a shame because it had so much potential and whats there is in some way good, just unrefined and that's not even including the game breaking glitches. So many of the areas feel unused and wasted for the size that they were (the main plaza did not need to be that big c'mon) and sections of the story felt like they were supposed to have more to it (For all the talk about Bonnie we are given very little info about Bonnie and that thing with Montry assumingly trashing his room at the start is never really looked into its like they forgot about it and just threw in a little statement about Bonnie last being seen in Monty's golf). I don't understand why music man chases you either. Dont get me wrong its a great section but later you can return and dudes just vibin like he didn't just try to kill you. Things felt all over the place and not really that thought out (there was zero reason for the daycare lights to go out other than having to deal with moon who you have to deal with at times after that point anyway I think just having moon show up at the end of the hour like he does and not meeting him in the daycare would have been far more terrifying. The daycare section just seemed like a pointless timekiller tbh). Also, taking things from Roxy, Monty and Chica had benefits for getting into areas (well tbh Monty's was the only really useful one for area access) but for the purpose of the story I never really understood why we had to upgrade freddie. It just seemed like a feature they wanted but never really thought about how to actually have that flow into the game. I could go on and on but I wont. I feel bad because I'm sure people worked very hard on the game. The designs are great. But it seems like there was a lot of pressure from a lot of areas and so its failed.
