I still think Sapp held back most of his career. If he put his head down, trained more than he did and didn't start with the steroids I legit could see him as an undefeated champion in one of the MMA promotions. The guy can swing. One of the episodes of Pros vs Joes he nearly knocked out his Joe opponent in mere seconds. Yeah, there was a clear weight difference, but just the way he moved in the ring was scary. Like a damn bullet train closing the gap, with a very hard hitting punch.

For all Bob Sapp the fighter sucks comments that are incoming - there is 2002 to 2005 Bob and then 2007 till now Bob. He was clearly throwing fights, he was even saying it that the organizations after Pride won`t take care of medical costs so he went down after the slightest graze. And in his first fights he was fighting cause he was flat ass broke and had no perspective in life. After he made it as an icon in japan that thrive was obviously over. This is the guy who beat Hoost twice, almost killed Nog and had a draw with LeBanner. With practically just a few months training. So when you take the actual hours of fight training and put them in perspective to how he did he is actually one of the best talents the sport ever had lol.
