To be fair my buddies wife was pushed down the stairs by their husky in 2018. Left he paralyzed from the waist down with two broken legs, broken arm, broken neck and back! Apparently the doctor at the trauma center told her husband it’s more common than one thinks! Another friend of my wife’s tripped over her cat on the porch and fell down the stairs breaking her arm in three places and leg in two!

I’m a small woman. 5’ tall and 88 pounds. I have jets on my tub and very powerful jets on the spa in our pool. Never have I been bruised or sucked under the water by these jets. I also have degenerative arthritis and try to sit in the tub or spa at least 3 times a week. The spa jets can pull me across the water into the other side of the spa, however, not scraping me anywhere on my body. If this woman was used to taking a bath with the jets working, this wouldn’t be the first time for her to be scraped or bruised. Again, I’ll say I’ve never suffered a bruise or scrape from the tub jets or the spa jets and I’m a small woman. Smaller than the woman in question. However, my husband hasn’t tried to kill me either. We agreed on our home builder, paint color and pool shape. This creepy guy killed his wife and got away with it for 8 years. I agree with you Dr. Grande, just because he wasn’t a violent person doesn’t mean he wasn’t violent at least this one time. I may be small, but I can kick butt if the need arises.

I've had somewhat the same experience. One day I wanted the house painted indoors. Looking for a painter. i suggested to hire a friend that just started a painting business. one to help him grow. And secondly because he was a few 100$ cheaper. My girlfriend had doubts from the start foreseeing exactly what happend. The painting job was a total failure. From using the wrong colors to having paint on surfaces that shouldn't have paint. At first i downplayed it. My girlfriend at the time was totally right. But i could not throw my friend under the bus. We had arguments over this. Eventually I send my friend away. And me and my girlfriend restored and finished the job our self. My advise Listen to your wife, she is mostly right. And if she is not pretend she is.

Trump is petty and often nonsensical but he happens to be correct about low flow toilets and showers, for what it's worth. And it's worth pointing out when environmental efforts do more harm than good so we can avoid that kind of non-scientific decision making in the future. And if a woman is floating in a tub for hours, perhaps bruising could result. How would we know? It a repetitive action, she was old and hot water soften the tissues of the body. At the very least it's a tad trite to brush it off as impossible without any real knowledge on the subject.

I'm always horrified when a murderer like this could have just walked away. He could have gotten a divorce, just packed up and left, abandoned his life completely and become a train-hopping hobo. He could have done any number of things besides murder. But he was greedy. He wanted to keep his possessions, his life as he knew it, and thought he was smart enough to get away with it. Would starting your life over really have been so bad? Would any alternative to murder really have been so bad? The thought process getting to answer yes to that... baffles me.

The thing that stands out to me is she was face down in the water. I am a bath injoyer myself and I have fallen asleep in the bath multiple times. The most you get is sliding down into the water a bit more. If she took medication and fell asleep how did she get flipped over. Women also normally float face up because of the fat content of breast tissue. It only makes sense for her to be face down if she drowned. And that's with out he husband being completely out dry. Things I want to ask the officer that responded to the call. Was her hair wet? Was her body or the floor wet? If so how wet? If her hair is dry she was probably taken out of the body hours before the call. Was her skin wrinkled from the water? If she was In the bath for an extended period of time you would see that. Had lavitady set in on the body? If she was faced there would be blood pooling

So the prosecutor spent a lot of effort trying to prove that a dry shirt and undisturbed knick-knacks were inconsistent with Frank's story of pulling her out after she drowned. If he drowned her, she was either in the tub at the time or she was not. If she was in the tub when she drowned, he pulled her out whether he killed her of not. If she was not in the tub when she drowned them yes, he did it, but the same problem exists; how did hd drown her without getting his shirt wet, and without anything being knocked off the tub? So what exactly does the prosecution demonstrate by pointing out a dry shirt and undisturbed tub items that the officer remembered 10 years after the fact?

The first investigation was terrible. Good for the officer who reopened the case.

All he had to do was replace the pump with one rated for way more suction! Then claim that after having an estimate to be professionally repaired he decided to diy it based on his wife’s wishes. Happy wife happy life defense! That way when tested the tub would perform as he claims! But people to dumb to just get a divorce are clearly too dumb to actually think through their defense!
