Did Valve just KILL Trading? (Again)

"Purchased and traded Counter-Strike items will not be visible to other users who view your Steam Inventory for 10 days" What does this mean for trading, cash trading and P2P marketplaces? Is trading going to die? Here are my thoughts, reasons and ideas what this means and what is going to happen next!

@@filip9564 they took away cs go and trying to restore cs to what it was with one update at a time instead of adding more content they took away most of it for now. Making new cases and charms wtihout addressing the cheater issue classic valve

Valve prolly wants us to buy on the stupid steam market.. Im mad rn luckily skinport is still working cause I have 500 euros in skins on sale there and another 2k euros in my inventory fuck valve how about making 128 tick servers for competitive and have a better anti cheat youre so right bro.....

@@FinnMMA I have actually given up all hopes for an Anti-cheat now. 128 tick is a far off thing, we will get that maybe near the end of this decade. Because which game that is being released in 2023 does not have 128 tick servers. Also I have actually stopped playing CS altogether right now. I also dont even care about the drops. I am at 16k elo right now. And almost 3 out of 5 games contains a cheater either in my team or the enemy team. So there is no point in playing Preimer. Ajd as far as Faceit is concerned. It is a lot better and playable than Preimer. So you will have a good experience there, I can assure you. I have never ever encountered a single cheater in a Faceit match till today.

Reason for this is bot spamming scammers are adding people to friends when they buy skins. I traded skin on cs monkey and in few hrs I got friend request from some random person wanted to "buy" a skin off me. It was a scammer tho.

Theres so much money going around which doesnt benefith valve so they are trying to slowly get us used to not having fun trading and using 3rd party sites. Eventually they will try to implement a way to get the most profit themselves which wont include getting any money out of the cycle. They are doing this slowly so we all wont just quit playing and new player base wont know about what we used to have.

No the issue is the 3rd party site cannot see the item in the new owners inventory to confirm the trade actually happened

this patch is bascially giving u that 3 Extra days to trade or do wut u want before everyone can see the skin u got , why 3 extra days ? , when u get the skin , it is 7 day and 10 day invisible , when it done 7 day hold u still have 3 days left on the invisible so i guess that's wut they were going to . BUT , i agree this doesn't benefit us at all , this just make trade even more longer from 7 days to 10 days and the scammer can still scam us cuz they have brain

I get trade banned, coz i offer trade someone with my awp pit viper, to his kilo case. I use my steam guard app to confirm the trade. Then steam community alert (pop-up) and i forget my steam wallet code. I use steam code to top-up Now i cant use my steam. I can't play games and trade. (Steam guard is useless.) (Email is useless) (Steam phone # is useless) I lost everything 😢.
