I saw Danielle’s video where she was upset that people were being so cruel to her. It ticked me off because it’s so unnecessary and no one deserves that. I hope she doesn’t take those nasty comments to heart. There’s a lot of bullies online living miserable lives and they target innocent people to lift themselves up, it’s sad. I believe that too about Elvis when he sang How Great Thou Art. And all the Gospel songs he sang. We are a Christian family (my Daddy was a preacher) and we had a preacher friend who had visited Elvis. He prayed with Elvis and what a great story it was. God definitely used Elvis singing Gospel music and you could feel that God was with him. Heartfelt. God bless you all. ❤

Besides the very early all white jumpsuits with the chains, red ladder, fringe, macrame - I prefer him in the two piece suits. The 1969 all black - oh my and then the chocolate brown when he's walking down the hall no shirt underneath - oh my. IMO the suits just made him look that much more sophisticated.

Not my favorite color, but I love the yellow hat on you! I grew up as a kid watching Elvis movies on TV. I must admit when I saw the “Elvis on Tour” movie at the drive in, the jumpsuits really threw me for a loop. The “Aloha from Hawaii” broadcast sold me 100%! Danny and Theresa, I love your stories and Danny I can tell just how much you loved growing up at Graceland. I was there for the first time in December and as I first walked through the door and glanced in all the rooms and outside, I could only imagine the fun! Of course, I felt sadness thinking that Elvis is no longer there. I was at the Guesthouse for a week and although I went to his house everyday but Friday, (I did the Tupelo tour) I made sure I went to his grave every morning to pay my respect! It's been my dream since I was 12 1/2 when he passed that one day I'd visit Memphis and see the sights. I loved Tupelo. I felt like I was back in time being in the same store that Gladys first bought Elvis's guitar. I stood in the same spot and got my picture taken. It was so much fun! I appreciate all you do, and I love listening and reminiscing about the great times you had with Elvis. ❤❤❤

I am grinning at your response to the question about your cane. I am 76 and have osteoarthritis in my knees and feet, and I use a cane to help me stay upright when I am standing or walking. I also have one of the wheelie-walker things but am resisting the impulse to use that as to me it presents the ultimate image of being 'elderly' So I make the most of using canes. The first one I bought was pink and I use that the most. I also have one in tigerprint, one in blue florals, and one white with flowers. Gotta have the right accessories to match my clothes!!

I self published a children’s book a few years ago. I had an editor make suggestions, but I had final say. I would buy any book written by your family.

As far as a book goes , yes I would buy it and support anything you wanted to do , but with these videos being a first hand from the horses mouth so to speak documentation a book is not necessary. I know the same question was asked to Billy and Jo and they were not enthused about the idea because they already did one with other MM members and said it was painful to relive some of the memories. Again , I personally think that both you and EFM are doing a fine job with things . Your videos are very captivating and entertaining and I look forward to them like visiting with good friends a couple times a week . keep doing what your doing . REQUEST: Please consider making a video where you describe Christmas at Graceland as if you had closed your eyes and you wanted to paint the most detailed picture of that time as possible in words for the 99.9999999% of people who never experienced it within the space of 10 to 15 minutes or so. You could start with “We arrived at around ##:00AM. The kids did XXXX while the adults did XXXXX. After a while, we exchanged gifts and it went like XXXX. Next, we had lunch which usually consisted of XXXX. Later in the day we did XXXXX. At the end of the day we did XXXXX.” I know this was a long time ago, so feel free to mash together Christmas memories from different years. The most important part is to give a general, overall idea of what life at Graceland was like back then. You and I are roughly the same age. Christmas for me back then was spectacular, but I didn’t live at Graceland. You had the turbocharged Christmas experience with King of Rock and Roll. To be clear, I’m not pushing for you to describe extravagant gifts from Elvis. I just want a mental image of the sights and feelings of the day from the morning, through the afternoon into the evening when everyone relaxed and was happy that they had spent an incredible day together.
