I completely agree. If Gladys had not died, many things would have gone differently for Elvis, both in his private life and in his career. With her death Elvis lost his true point of reference 😢

She wouldn’t have. When Elvis was dating June Juanico she asked Junes age a few times to make sure she was above 18 and could travel out of state with Elvis. She was very aware of girls ages when dealing with her son.

That said, I agree, he would have married Anita and I think he always felt like he should have married Anita. I do think Gladys would have thought Priscilla was beautiful and as long as she was a good homemaker and dotted on her son and stayed close to the family I think she would have been fine with her if she was older.

I feel like Gladys would have never let Priscilla move in when she was so young and I personally believe she would have guided Elvis in a different direction. I don't believe he would have done a lot of things he did because Elvis was always lonely and trying to fill that void. Having his mother there he would have had a different life. ❤❤

When Gladys met June juanico , she asked June's age and June said I am 18. Gladys then said she did not want elvis going out with a 14 year old. So that answers the question of whether Gladys would have accepted Priscilla. NO, SHE WOULD NOT HAVE. Remember, the only reason elvis spoke to Priscilla, was because his mother had just died and he spoke to Priscilla about how lonely he was. Little did he know, in a few months his movie career would be going and he would meet scads of leading ladies and have relationships with many of them and not be lonely for long❤

Tom Parker willingly sabotaged Elvis' relationships with women, who really loved him and were good for his personal wellbeing: June, Anita and Ann-Margaret. They threatened Parker's hold over his "serf" Elvis Presley. Parker told Elvis he had to pretend to be single because that would be better for his career. Tom Parker routinely spread rumors and publicity about Elvis' supposed promiscuity and his so-called affairs with co-stars because it enhanced the sale of Elvis' movies and records. Vicious Parker even spread the ridiculous rumour that Elvis had impregnated co-star Dolores Hart, who later became a nun. Dolores Hart, up till today, praises Elvis Presley for his ability to listen to people and truly understand them, his religiosity, his good character and his enormous talent. Elvis Presley and Anita Marie Wood were a very happy couple, who planned to marry and have a son Elvis jr. and a daughter Lisa Marie. Parker forbade Anita to come to Germany with Elvis, Vernon, Minnie Mae, Red West, Lamar Fike and others, cir even visit Elvis Presley. False snake Priscilla B., pimped by her mother and alcoholic stepfather, wouldn't have gotten the chance to victimize Elvis Presley hadn't it been for Dutch murderer and gambler Dirk Kuijk alias Tom Parker, who always supported Priscilla B. and vice versa!

Her son said recently that he went to his Mother for help because she knew about Drugs because Elvis fed her drugs during their marriage. That has nothing to do with Priscilla's Son but he is blaming his drug use on Elvis for money. This is unbelievable shame on Priscilla and her Son. Nurse Jean

According to what I’ve read there were several young girls around 14 years of age who became special friends with Elvis in the 1950s and they often hung out with him in his house in Audubon and maybe at Graceland. I think he related to them as pals and Gladys would have allowed their presence in his room but I’m sure she kept a special eye on the situation and would not have allowed him to actually date any of them since they were minors.

I would never say Gladys wouldn't have liked Priscilla at first meeting but I can only go on something I've heard June Juanico said ,she said his mom was very concern about girls being legal age she asked her about her age stating she said she didn't want her son to get in any trouble , So I think Priscilla would have been sent back to her parents right away . People who knew him and his mother said he definitely took her advice. But in the end when Priscilla became an adult the way she acted I can safely say Gladys wouldn't have cared for her period. But my advice to Danny I think he need to start writing down a lot of questions and getting answers from his parents , I am left with so many un answered questions I wish I had asked my parents for wisdom I wished I had.

Dixie Locke was 3 years younger than Elvis and Barbara Hearne was 1 year younger than Elvis and Gladys liked them both nothing was wrong. with their ages then or now. When you've lived in real time with these people you got a chance to see , hear and read things as they unfolded so you basically. Knew the history unlike people who was born post Elvis passing and has heard so much leaving them confuse with fiction & facts. The Smith family is providing facts Billy and Jo. Lived Elvis life and Danny was about 14 when he passed. When June Juanico. came along Elvis was 21 she was a concern mother because Elvis fan base consist of teen girls as well as ladies his age. His original plans and he said it himself he was waiting for Dixie to complete high school and they was going to get married and he was going to continue on being a. electrician but he recorded that's alright mama, it changed their plans and the rest is history.

My understanding from reading feedback via many of the MM's, when Elvis returned home from the Army, it was priscilla who kept contacting/pursuing him with letters and wanting him to call her...and she used some made up excuse she was afraid of her adoptive father. (Lamar put it "That bloom was off the rose...: Elvis felt sorry for her and loyalty for her listening to him while he was grieving for his mother in Germany. So, he brought her over one summer and then again Christmas for two weeks of the same year. Gladys, according to Elvis, [knew things.] She could see people for who they really were inside. Maybe not the first meeting but I believe Gladys would have had priscilla and her parents figured out.

So was she unknown to Elvis he had a very young girl that really got around he said priscilla was very mature for her age right there never acted her age because she got around eith older guys at her very young age before Elvis very cunning ! Hi Danny and Theresa (Hopefully I spelled that name correctly), Love the videos... I have a 2-Part QUESTION: It goes down in history about how Elvis would go to a car dealership and buy a car for himself and his friends and family (Once, I heard, he bought 7 in one day). PART ONE: I was wondering, due to his love of music, did he go to a record store and pick out and buy a lot of records like he would do with cars, and which singers or bands would he look for? PART TWO: What is your favourite song and album, and what is Theresa's favourite song and album? My favourite Elvis song is Suspicious Minds and favourite album is From Elvis In Memphis, which I have on vinyl. It's such a great album. Sorry for the long winded question, but I get carried away and brevity isn't one of my strong points LOL. Thanks and lots of love and care to you and your family from Newfoundland, Canada. Say Hi to your Dad Billy and his wife Jo for me.

If Gladys was Still around then Elvis probably wouldn't of bonded with Priscilla over talking to her for hours about his mums death and feeling vulnerable when he was grieving.. He probably also wouldn't of acted that way in f4ont of gladys ,,in the sense of having another girl in the house whilst still being in a relationship with Anita ..

Thank you for the content I appreciate you sharing your memories & stories. I was hoping you could possibly ask your Mother or Father about this & provide some insight. I did ask this on there channel but I think they have so many questions to answer that it's hard to get to everyone. I read somewhere that as Elvis was going to embark on the tour that never happened that he had asked Charlie to pull the sheet music for some songs that he was going to add to that tour do you think your parents might know what those songs were? Also did your parents ever discuss with Elvis certain song he might do on tour or songs he might possibly record or how that process worked for Elvis. I know when he went in to record there was a stack of demos but I was wondering if he ever recorded something on your dad's recommendation? Thanks again for the content. Johnny b

I read that it was in Elvis’s will that Priscilla was not to use the Presley name for money, fame or any monetary gain. She did go back to her name Belieue (don’t know how it is spelled) and when Elvis died she went right back to using Presley. I was told that she went to Vernon and wanted to use the name for Lisa’s sake. Is that true?

I honestly believe if Elvis’s mum had still been alive Elvis would not have got with Priscilla as he wouldn’t have been grieving for his mum while in Germany. I really think she was the only person he would’ve listened to regarding everything, he may not have liked hearing what his mum said but I do think she would’ve been the one to get through to him. The Elvis Festival held in Parkes, New south Wales in Australia is in its 31st year and has never been bigger! I wonder how he would feel if he knew how widespread is his legacy. I was talking with a young girl at work yesterday and she was asking me about Elvis. She is a country Oz girl who thinks he's the hottest bloke ever born!! It's amazing really. ❤ My best friend used to live in the US and drove around following his performances. She was always a beauty and in a wheelchair and Elvis sent someone down to her with a scarf at one concert in the mid 70's. Love to you both and get those ribs better Teresa.

Well if the next generation want to keep his legacy going they will have to come up with a way. You have to speculate to accumulate! Everyone seems to be obsessed with money and watching, but only when it comes to Cilla what about all these other people like the major shareholder! All he did was buy into the company that was already formed. They weren’t there when the whole thing was conceived!

Thank you Danny and Teresa for the great video, hope y’all are doing better, as for my favorite of all the ladies that Elvis dated, my favorite was Anita l liked Linda too , as far as who Gladys would have liked Elvis to marry “thats spilt milk only God , Gladys and Elvis know the answer to that question, l kind of feel sorry for Pricilla in a way’ but l never had to much care for a person who is a greedy gut , l am sorry l cant help thinking that Elvis wanted his Daughter Lisa Marie to have taken complete control over his Estate, l also knew Elvis would have wanted his Cousin Billy Smith and other family members to have shared in some of his fortune, it would have been plenty of money for all of them if Lisa had of known a Good Lawyer would who could see things through Elvis’s eyes and not the eyes of money hungry people ! Take care y’all! I just feel that Lisa. and Elvis’s blood relatives got ripped off ! 🙏💜🙏❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸

From what I've heard and read l get the feeling Gladys was a very perceptive woman and very protective of Elvis. My guess is she would have seen straight through Priscilla just like she did Tom Parker, (she had his number alright). Elvis's life would have turned out very different if she had lived to an old age.
