Holy crap! Im floored!!! I actually got a "commended entry" for my Space Wolf Terminator!!!! I havent competed in painting since 2009! Thank you Oldendemon for putting on such a wonderful and fun competition. It was so amazing to see the guys I normally chat with on IG pop up as either commended, final or actual placing with their minis! I swear the Oldhammer community is filled with such wonderful and talented people!!! I was HONORED to compete with everyone this year and cannot wait for next years Oldendemon. This absolutely made my month (its been a crap month via the business I run due to manufacturing issues) and just wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to be that guy, but I have to disagree. Everyone knows the greatest Warhammer miniature of all time is Old Nagash. The pinnacle of not just the sculptor's art, but art in general.

Quick note, the two Giants (one commended, one a finalist) have either had their positions or names mixed up. I know because I painted one of them, but my name is set against the other! Amazing set of minis and paint jobs! And love the tone of the video 😅

My favourite sculpt from those days is the Eldar Warlock with the Antlered helm and the Singing Spear.

great work all, respect from a box art/store model painter from back in the day! (I worked for GW in late 90's) Love all these new techniques folks use these days, especially on super old models I actually recognize!

I know a few things about packaging design and printing processes, you can make it more or less easily nowadays ordering a multicolor run of 3D printed frames, and the card is easily made by debossing or embossing, depending on the look you want, into a thick cardstock finished with a film layer.
