Did you know that in Cabin in the Woods, Marty the Stoner was actually incredibly muscular? In the commentary for the film, the writer’s described him as a “muscular Jesus”, and said they had to avoid ruining his character by covering up Marty’s muscles. They dressed him in baggy and oversized clothes, and even had his character be the only one not to strip and jump into the lake with everyone else!

It would fit the theme of “forcing stereotypes” if they reveal that Marty is not your average “Stoned Guy”

I completely agree for example both Jules and Kurt are pretty smart with their majors and all,Holden too , Dana isn’t an actual virgin, and Marty should have been muscular to show that these stereotypes were forced upon them

Honestly they should've at least showed of his strength on screen once in the movie as a joke then have a scene where it's taken more serious, although I do love that he tore apart that zombie with nothing but a bong thermos off screen when it was originally played out like he'd been killed

Honestly I feel that revealing the muscularity would not make the movie worse, but the opposite - add to the "we try to make them look like the stereotypes even if they aren't" theme already present in the plot.
