Did you know the famous key scene in Get Out was improvised?
It was originally scripted, but Daniel Kaluuya said it didn’t feel right. After talking to Jordan Peele about it, Peele told him to go with his gut and improvise. Kaluuya literally just asked for the keys repeatedly, and the scene ended up being one of the most tense and frightening of the entire
film.

The raising of the voice asking repeatedly yelling is what we would realistically do in this situation to as Chris looking at his situation is like a dear in a corner he can’t go anywhere and his last hope he thinks is with his girlfriend and him thinking she’s rational he’s yelling for them damn keys while also looking for the nearest escape route and knowing he’s fucked he’s panicking

Frightening scene for me is the initial hypnosis scene. Daniel made a noise of fear-one that tells me that he knows something is off but is powerless against Missy at this point!

😂What cracked me up was when Chris dropped his things when Rose had the keys the entire time and she knew all along. You could see him giving up and lose energy and not even saying a damn thing and accepted fate.

I wanted to believe so badly that somehow she was brainwashed….(And they are both so phenomenal acting in this) that when she pulled out the keys I felt like I was gonna pass out 😂😮 one of my favorite bad guy/villain in a horror “psychological horror” film. But an all around masterpiece in every way, anyway. So glad I got to see it in theaters!!!!
