I think she was waiting for her and Vision to split. Idk what she wants with the kids (Or what she did to them) but she was definitely trying to separate Wanda and Vision.

Agnes has been starting trouble from the start, trying to break down Wanda's world. In ep one she apologizes for not greeting Wanda and Vision sooner saying "my mother in law was in town, so I wasn't". So at the very least it seems she was not there when Wanda took over the town. Wanda did not create her persona at all. Agnes was the one that caused the misunderstanding between Wanda and Vision. In ep two Agnes is the one that made Wanda nervous about Dottie and the talent show. In ep three Agnes was being replaced as Wanda's friend by Monica, which is why she started telling Vision that Monica did not belong and enlisted help from Herb. Ep five she is there when the kids age up and no one else is looking. She was there to push the idea of them keeping the dog, which led to a second age up of the kids. Then, of course, she brought in "Pietro". Agnes has been the one pushing conflict in the sitcom fantasy Wanda created. Without Agnes, Wanda and Vision would have just lived their fantasy life, but Agnes created conflict in order to break her down. Agnes has been the one creating chaos for Wanda within the hex. It is also why she is trying to separate Vision from Wanda. Vision grounds Wanda.

I think she acted cause Monica and vision keep getting too close to waking up wanda and talking her into breaking the hex

I think agatha needs more power to summon mephisto/nightmare/whoever it is. So planned wanda to divide her powers into the twins. She will now use the twins as a battery source to make her stronger to summon the big baddie

So like she isn’t replaced by another character or wields different powers; she is always the Scarlet Witch with magic powers.

Agreed. The one thing I was looking forward for in this show was our relationship with Vision and Wanda. And I think, conclusively before the show even ends, that the production team has done that. We care a lot for Vision in ways that perhaps we would not have in the films.

I think it was a purposeful misdirect. It would be a fan service Easter egg, and wouldn't push the plot forward. With Monica getting her powers and the Agatha reveal, it would have been too distracting. Also, since the aerospace engineer could be tied to Monica's storyline not Wanda's, I think we'll get that particular reveal in a post/mid credit scene after either ep. 8 or the finale as a setup for Captain Marvel 2.

Itll be all flashbacks. From Agatha's origin story to Wanda stealing back Vision's corpse. I assume Agatha was like a therapist or smth for Wanda post Blip/pre Hex and that's where the manipulation started that lead to Wanda creating her dream world which is gonna turn into a nightmare.

I don't think so, because Monica felt Wanda's pain and grief on entering the Hex the first time. I don't think Agatha has all that power. I think Agatha manipulated Wanda and/or used Wanda's reality warping powers to create the Hex.

I think Wanda may have created a localized hex for her and Wanda, and then Agatha came in and started stirring things up which made Wanda start questioning things and break down the illusion. As the fantasy breaks down, the decades go by because as time progressed, TV shows contained more realistic domestic conflict. I think Wanda created a little fantasy life for herself and Agnes came infiltrated it. To what end I have no idea, but I don't think Agnes started it nor do I think Agnes has been in control of everyone.
