Have you ever travelled to a Muslim country during Ramadhan?
We came to Pakistan during the holy month, and witnessed some special events on our first day in Pakistan. We went around F-7 Markaz / Jinah Supermarket area in Islamabad for Iftar (breaking the fast) looking for some delicious Pakistani food, and saw people cooking and sharing meals for the public. Ramadan is truly a beautiful month.

The kindness in Pakistanis is the best kindness MashaAllah. It is deep rooted from our Islamic values. Your video made me emotional. Just seeing Ramadan in a muslim country, and that sense of community. This is all a blessing from God Almighty. Everything He tells us to do is good for us. @abdulbasit there are so many words from arabic and Persian in urdu language which are mostly used in litrary language. By the way, Sahur is not only used in urdu language but in Persian, turkish, Kurdish, Azerbaijani, and other languages too.

Steve, Here I just want to explain you about what 1 Lac means? Lac is the common word use in Asian countries. 1 LAC =100,000. The time when you were interacting with people who were cooking food for SEHRI. One of that Person was saying that they give free food to 100,000 people (means 1 Lac people) during SEHRI time everyday.

Lassi, always order sweet, unless it is with full veg dinner. Tikka is orange in India, or maybe Indian restaurants outside India. Pakistani tikka is rarely deep orange when cooked.
