I live across the street from a feed lot. Once a week, they have this big grinder come and grind round bales net and all. Makes me wonder how much plastic is in those bovine guts. The owner tells me they are rated with grade a beef. Yet, let that sink in. I raise mine differently, of course. You know in a pasture where they have grass, not mud and poop to lay down in.

Love how you can walk up to your herd of cattle and give them a good pat. You can tell they really adore you! Tipsy is the best! You can tell she knows what you're saying to her! Hey from Michigan. Just got pj's on and was hunkering down to watch when the dang power went out. 14 inches of snow. Blowing and snowing today. Neighbor went for gas for me for the generator. I was not prepared. Thank GOD for good neighbors

It’s really cold here in Memphis! Waiting for the worse part so I feel for you. It’s amazing how God made the animals able to stay warm. Whenever I start to worry about your cows, I remind myself of that. God bless you.

I’ll trade ya. We have at least a foot of snow with -19F with 45/50mph winds and -47F wind chills with impassable roads throughout Iowa from the blizzard for days. Ugh. I’m know you all get that too. 😊

back in the late 60s we had 2 weeks of like minus 20 in Feb my water tank was frozen 2 ft ddep the only open water was were the tank heater was just a hole as big as the heater when filling the tank with water i had to roll out 300 ft of hose then blow out the hose by my houth lung power then roll it up and put it in the basement of the house

That's twice now that he's hit his head 🤕, on camera at least, since he re-did the "door" on the 'Paca Shacka, and both times he said he needs to be reminded to build the new loafing sheds taller when they get to the new place. 😆

I live in Bama and tomorrow , Monday we are expecting 13 inches of snow. It shuts us down when we get this weather, the problem is so much moisture in the air it usually ends up with three inches of ice before we actually get the snow. It makes Driving very hard. We are trying to;buckle down and get everything done tonight ( Saturday and Sunday) before it hits.

Our temps are -19F with a wind chill/feels like is -47F with blizzard conditions. We have had about 12 inches of snow in NW Iowa. I have been stuck at my dad’s house for 3 days because most of the roads are drifted shut and impassable.

I live in Portland Oregon we are having the same whether you are except that we are having some snow not much but some. The temperatures are just about the same with the wind chill it's at zero right now it is 14 degrees and we've had wind gusts up to 25 to 35. Just East is the Columbia gorge and that wind just whips down that gorge. It has literally pick her up and move them across the road. If there is ice and wind fun has been had by all.
