Yes, as a former engine builder I've seen several of these..Just amazing. Torque is tight, tighter, tightest, and OMG 4-foot extensions! And we don't need no stinking new head-bolts either!

I’m just old enough to remember when mechanics in the U.K. had more skill than tools. Nowadays the starting point is to get their computer out to tell you what’s wrong. These are hard working honourable men who take pride in what they do.

I’m amazed at EVERY video you post!! Garages in the USA look like operating rooms and these guys rebuild engines in the dirt with basic hand tools and I don’t think I saw a torque wrench!! 👍🏼👍🏼

If they have simple engine, they can fix it by simple tools nad method. If You give them diesel EURO6 engine with two turbochargers, with common rail system, adblue instalation, scr, with few computers and exhaust gasses filter system they cant do anything.

This guys are doing the best job with the tools and material they have. BUT. I am from meddle east and we assembled engine exactly the way they do. But once I moved to Canada 25 years ago. I worked with professionals in B.C. There is much more than assembling parts. . These engineer they put together they work fine and sound ok . BUT. They are horrible when it comes to performance. These guys are awesome to keep the trucks on the road with the equipment they have.. Bravo.

These people, hard working people amaze me at their knowledge of how these engines and their parts work. I have surmised that the torque wrenches equal the length of a certain breaker bar. But, it seems to work. I subscribed a long, long time ago to watch these experts work.

Agree with most of other comments. All built by feel. No expensive assembly lubes. Wouldn't comply with any factory warranty repair. But hey all it has to do is run and work.

anyone with rudimentary knowledge of engine and some cheap tools can rebuild an engine, rebuilding it correctly so the engine last and operates correctly for many years is whole different story.

I'm pretty sure a ratchet wouldn't stand up to the use or the environment hints the speed wrenches how do you think a torque wrench would hold up

@@perforator_ac-dc я купил свою первую машину в 1986году, а вот шофером я стал в 1977 году, вот тогда вообще нечего не было, головки сами делали в кузнице, токарь наточит втулок , на горне до красна и с одной стороны шестигранник наставляешь и кувалдочкой , с другой квадрат также, вороток с сломанного стабилизатора подвески Волги, рожковые ключи были штамповка из толстого металла, если ключ новый нужно ему края обточить ,чтобы руки не порезать и называли их ,, красный пахарь,, , как губки разогнутся , тоже в кузницу , нагрел и на шестиграннике обстучал. Я смотрю на пакистанцев и молодость вспоминаю.

Тут все хают эту сборку сами даже не знаю как подойти к двигателю я тоже новые прокладки на герметик и так прочнее собрал движок на 41 лет пять назад до сих пор бегает не сопливет не каких поломок а мы новую прокладку на герметик
