Frame the entire trailer in square tube and then panel the four sides with hinged panels that will fold 270º to lay on the top for maintenance access/weather protection. The side panels may need to hinge in the middle so they both can be opened at once. Just a thought.

This is realy enjoyable to see. The way you get everything to work and function the right way. It feels bad (in some way) to call you for beeing a backyardengineer thus because your very professional way to get everything together. I like your way of thinking. Things you do seem to work better than just good. A little development process in some areas will be needed maybe but some stuff has to be seen working before that happens. My favourite machine of yours is the firewoodplant. Many functions in one machine. Tack för fina videos.

Sounds like the diesel is running into the rev limiter, maybe some small adjustments on the injection pump could help with that. For the cover I would try ro get a canyas/tarp like one on the small trailers, doesn't weigh too much and keeps the power pack nice and dry, as long as it's standing on the job site... Thx for showing, great to watch! 👍👍👍

If the big pump has 'pressure compensated control' you could add the smaller pump on the same circuit to increase the flow. You may need a check valve on the big pump pressure line.

When I think of all the money spent on machinery, fuel, wear and tear, then I think of all the time spent to cut wood, build machines, service machines, process into firewood, haul the wood, load fireburner constantly, it makes me wonder if there was any savings on the fuel bill in comparison. It might be kind of mildly enjoyable to work on stuff but I would rather get the house heated with no effort and spend my free time doing something GREATLY enjoyable like fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and the like. I'm not disparaging this guy at all, what he does is very impressive.

Look for one of those fiberglass hoods that go on covered trailers. Maybe you can get one of those to fit. Seeing your wood cutter/splitter it struck me that the lengt of push/ pull is twice the length of the log stumps. This could be improved. Maybe just let one stump push the next stump onto the wedge.

Just watched the video , and thought your only cost is diesel , but you have tons and tons of wood waste , it may be worth for a static application like this , making a wood gasifier and running a gas engine on wood gas , you would need to scrub the gas through woodchips to clean the creosote , then a standard petrol engine, either that or a steam engine ideal if you have a use for waste heat is drying wood or heating a house

So Hanna pulled the car away frozen to the ground? Living in the Arctic circle makes life so easy. How is your car used for a belt support doing? I see you put a steel backstop for it but the rear window seemed broken. Then pulled it out with a strap through the wheel. Easy to move things with a big excavator. My neighbor got stuck in a snowbank down off Parkhill street. He could have used your excavator but he diddled around with it and got it out. 21:50.

If so, maybe you could add a high-flow pump to your new service trailer to boost wood production. Thanks for the awesome content! I've subscribed.
