Hope they don't modernize the elevators there. That would be sad. This is the best town in the universe. I'm a really big fan of you. I've been watching for almost 6 years & your videos rock. Keep them up!

The bell chime used in China Ryoden (Mitsubishi, Taiwanese made) elevators in Asia sounds quite similar to these elevators.

+ElevExplorings by JimLiElevators the highest floor i have been on is 86 and that was in the empire state building in new york. but the elevators there sadly got modernized with series 7 but they very well needed the series 7 mod as they were becoming extremely unsafe and scared the hell out of passengers.

+ElevExplorings by JimLiElevators i hope they stay westinghouse because i road a westinghouse traction earlier this year and only the chimes were modernized by schindler but the cab and buttons is completely original from the late 80s.

Kinki the elevators only go as far as floor 38, but the stairs probably go further.

There's technically 37 floors in this hotel because there is no 13th floor and the service elevators that serves the lower level makes it 38 floors

3:21 i’m gonna be honest Andrew I did not think that there would be paramedics and EMTs in that elevator. I guess there was a medical emergency going on that day. My dad actually works as a firefighter and paramedic and my brother works as an EMT.

The PI in that elevator is in atrocious condition, a big chunk of that plastic broke off and the upper floor numbers have been knocked out! These need a mod very bad!
