Alnico magnets, also look at the expensive caps in crossover from maybe jantzen? Sound good but you lose a lot of efficiency with open baffle speakers. You gain the loss of cabinet resonances in large sealed enclosures though.

If you have the money to build a room big enough. Buy 4x the amount of drivers and have insanely powerful amps powering them to make up for the loss of efficiency. Its unbeatable and sounds the best. But for people on even a decent high end budget. It will never sound good

I'm telling you now..There is only one TT and that's the Vyger..I've heard it and it makes all the others sound silly..Vyger unfortunately it's expensive..But that's the high end..Forget the rest unless it's the Continuum but even it isn't close

Syd Barrett It's KZfaq video recorded on a Sony camcorder, what do you expect. Take time to visit the shows...there is no comparison when your there in person. I went to Munich and the show was fantastic.
