Stress definitely is a big factor in health. WhenI was teaching, I worked out 4 days a week. When I resigned, I increased to 5 days. With the elimination of stress, I lost 20 pounds.

Is teaching that stressful, I thought about trying to become a special education teacher
@divinelovepeace
@divinelovepeace Жыл бұрын
@johnnybrown12 unless it is a burning desire and you have another source of income, I would advise against it. Many teachers have to have part-time jobs, especially if they are single . I worked in Alternative Education which is similar to special Ed in that there were a lot of IEP meetings involved which required several specialists that came up with these plans that you must legally follow and keep data. They are intended to help the child so I understand but it gets to be a bit much, with that, the demands of the parents who dnt do what they need to do, the growing set of responsibilities from administration and the increasingly bad behavior of the children. It was once my passion and then it became what was killing me especially after covid there was a statewide and almaybe nation wide increase of behavior problems. Teaching is no longer a profession that most teachers retire from. Teachers are getting burn out way before. Look at all angles, talk to special Ed and regular Ed teachers, assess your finances and then decide.

@johnnybrown12 oh wow, my bachelor's is in CRJ as well. You'll figure it out. I've been out of the classroom for a year now and I'm making less than I was as a teacher. However, it has given me so much space to heal, rejuvenate and to actually figure out what I want to do next.

💯 I love this role model of a man, Dr. Bobby Price. 💯 I started where I am, not perfect, taking away a little here and there, last night I had a whole plant-based meal and I'm drinking water, exercising and beginning to feel better with my sluggishness. Unfortunately I did some damage to my body but from what I understand it's reversible. The damage is a fatty liver, obesity, low self-worth. The low self-worth was from other people but I'm working on that as well. So thank you Dr Bobby. I hope that there is a soulmate out there for me around my age, someone that I can enjoy life with and eat healthy with and exercise with and encourage others as well just like you. Thank you guys for the show. 🔥

I'm a nurse, and I agree wholeheartedly. A level of awareness we all need to have. When I started becoming more mindful of what I'm consuming, my body can't tolerate certain foods. I literally can't eat McDonald's because it makes me sick. When I was younger, a Big Mac meal was my choice. Your body will let you know when you are dishonoring it.

Dr. said, “I want quality conversations, I want quality food, I want quality relationships, I want quality experiences.” 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We (ourselves) play a role in obtaining quality. I’m definitely more conscious about what I put in my body and my body will let me know that it likes the things that I’m putting by how I feel physically, emotionally, internally and honestly how my food digest. I don’t feel heavy or bloated like I used to because of the changes I’ve intentionally made. This is not easy but I love the results. Thank you for this episode.

I agree with Dr. Bobbie to an extent. I tried the vegan diet For several months But due to my having gastritis and IBS, the excessive fiber aggravated my IBS. I do incorporate beef and lamb into my diet but I make sure that their grass fed grass finished and I have a BM every day. I eat wild caught seafood; I do not eat chicken or pork; so ultimately everyone needs to cater their diet to their body - veganism, vegetarianism & non-dairy is not for everybody.

No disrespect, but your gastritis and irritable bowel syndrome ailment is diet related and it’s not from a plant based (vegan) diet. A dietary lifestyle that consist of fruit, vegetables and nuts would rectify both of those ailments.

@@YaelYasharahla 😏 my GI issues were actually stress related. As I mentioned, I tried the vegan diet using organic fruits and vegetables, beans, lentils, etc & that lifestyle did not rectify my symptoms. I’m a registered licensed clinical dietitian and from the thousands of patients I’ve worked with I know 1 diet doesn’t fit all…. I’m glad the vegan diet worked for you though!

Veganism is not for anyone that's a human being. Ruminants are the only herbivorous animals. They have stomachs with multiple chambers that allow them to properly break down the fiber and vegetable matter in their food. Humans are omnivores and actually closer to carnivores

I am a Registered Dietician-Nutritionist. Yes, you can get off medication. However, patients usually do not change their eating habits or lifestyles. They ask me for medication 💊😒. I see patients with new phones, fancy clothes, freshly cut hair, dyed hair, tattooed up the wahzoo, nails done , dripping in jewelry, but claim they don't have money for food? People have money for what they want. Alcohol is very expensive and people still buy that ?!
