This is one of the reasons I love Laruga so much, she listens to what HER body needs and makes adjustments as needed, not based on what anyone else says she needs. We are all unique. And she is so steady and calm, not judgmental. Love her!

Thank you so much Adam and Laruga for sharing this video. I am also the last months reviewing the impression (because I believe this is what it is !) I have about eating meat. Being a vegetarian for more that 16 years, I have started ''fighting'' this impression and with the help of a spiritual teacher I have here in Crete I start becoming free of it. There is a long way still because I admit I feel still little guilty when I eat. My body is wanting and was asking for meat. I was ignoring it... I've seen a physiatrist who examines the blood and she told me that I have to eat meat because some blood cells have become like ''glue'' and not moving. Also like Laruga said I am also fed up with the label of Vegan, etc. I've seen people being vegan and be aggressive and people who eat meat (of course with respect) and be so much in peace. This is another impression of the new (c)age phycology. Anyway, I respect the way other people view this topic. You know it is difficult to go against your ego... ''I am a yogi" or "Meat is not spiritual" and all this false beliefs we have. I am glad to hear teachers like both of you who admit to say that they are not vegetarians any more. This video was another "sign" that I am moving to the right way and helping me to realize that some bodies , like me, have to eat meat. Thank you Adam. Hope one day we can meet. Konstantinos Tournas from Crete.

Thank you for your feedback, I'm so glad that this will help you on your journey wherever you decide to go, and like Laruga says there is no need for labels and nothing needs to be stagnant. You are in a wonderful place, we love Crete!

This is so true. I believe more than diet being vegetarian or not, one should contemplate to consume alcohol and sugar carefully.

Ah! Thank you so much for sharing. I’m 28 and I’ve had a very similar experience with the vegetarian diet. It served me when I was younger, but not as I got older. Sometimes I feel this guilt regarding no longer being a veg and my practice. It’s so nice to hear your perspective.

That’s great to hear. I think we have to keep reassessing our lives and choices therein constantly - and without preconceived notions- or as little as are possible. The veg diet is an ethical ideal but I do feel it’s not for everyone. 🙏

Well kind of obvious but worth saying: You can't thrive on salads or fruits or raw foods only. Eating like this is oftentimes an eating disorder. It's not the veganism (not a diet), vegetarianism etc, it's about eating properly, the right amounts etc. If you have a high intensity practice more so ✌️

All good points. There are two more parts to this video, keep watching to see where we land.

@@keenonyoga Thank you Adam! :) I just want people know that it's not impossible to build muscles and be strong on raw vegan diet. If raw food is good for all animals, all species on this Planet, why wouldn't it be good - maybe the best - for us, humans?

YOU BECOME A YOGI BY BEING RICH AND FAMOUS AMERICAN YOGI DREAMS, NOT BY BEING VEGETARIAN CERTAINLY NOT BY AHIMSA.

the thing is , a basic reading of the Bhagavad Gita and the metaphor of the civil war in the first chapter suggests that literal ahimsa is impossible in the world of action (Patanjalis text was one for those retreated from the world of action, therefore literal ahimsa was more realistic). i wouldn’t say she’s particularly rich and famous either - although she is American 😂
