I honestly prefer the tail of Godzilla 2014, it's more reptilian and pointyier. But I like both 2014 and 2019, I'm glad Godzilla is being handled with the respect that he deserves while still being an Americanized, modern version of the character.

Like the Final Wars Godzilla, he's also the most powerful monster on Earth, only beaten by a monster that isn't from Earth (Monster X/Keiser Ghidorah and the "MonsterVerse" King Ghidorah).

I really like Godzilla is bulky and muscular. Godzilla's eyes were changed to Red-Orange in 2019. I really like it very much. Height: 108.2 meters tall (G14) and 119.79 meters tall (GKOTM). The MonsterVerse Godzilla is my favorite incarnation of the character, along with the older Toho incarnations of Godzilla. He is the giant prehistoric amphibious reptile (Titanus Gojira).

2019's redesign is good. I kinda wish that they had went in a slightly different direction with his redsign. Instead of makeling him look more like traditionalistic Godzilla I wish that they had kelpt closer to 2014's naturealistic design. For example: keeping 2014's dorsal plates shape and just making the larger and/or more broken looking. I say this b/c 2014 was design to be a more naturalistic interpetation of Godzilla and 2019's dorsal plates look like like they belong more to the nuclear burnt victim Godzilla than the naturalistic version. And i know they made a comic to explian why the plates look that way, but i am just saying i wish they had taken a slightly different direction in the resdesign in general.

Micheal Dougherty the director of KOTM said he wanted Godzilla to look more like one of Toho's official designs. He stated in an interview he gave Godzilla some of the original 1954's dorsal plates along with the classic 4 toed feet and his arms are much bigger and muscular too. U can tell hes a huge Godzilla fan and wanted Godzilla to look as accurate to a Toho design as possible.

Apparently, in the Wikizilla description for DougheGoji, his neck is also thicker, his legs are longer and his shoulders are broader. I think that's why it looks kinda shorter. And for those wondering: G14 is 108 meters tall and 167.74 meters long. G19 is 119.8 meters tall and 177.4 meters long.

Correction! The Legendary Godzilla is not the first incarnation to possess gills, the Showa Godzillas are. It’s explained that the small holes on Godzilla’s neck in the Showa era, primarily designed so that the suit actors can see, are actually gills.

The reason why godzilla's atomic breath wasn't that impressive in 2014 is because he hasn't taken much radiation through a very long time and his spines were not enough to hold the radiation and fire the same atomic breath as 2019 Goji. When his spines grew back it's now much larger and can hold enough radiation to relase that of his atomic breath of 2019

I love both of them equally. The G14 is sporting a more animalistic and realistic look he looks just like you would expect him to look in real life and G19 looks so beautiful and has more personality and the traditional Godzilla look and sound. Can't wait to see how he will look in GVK and hopefully other future movies😊

2019 version has like multiple versions of roars. Pretty sure I heard like at least 3 different versions. 1 sounding like G14, 1 sounding like 1998 zilla and 1 sounding like heisei era Godzilla roar. Personally I like the roar sound of G14 and I wish G19 kept its consistency with his roar.

The Legendary Godzilla is just pure badassery in my opinion with Godzilla 2000 being my second favorite. I know this isn't the goal of the video but I personally HATED the Shin Godzilla design and movie.

Godzilla ‘19 is more..... Godzilla

Allow me to explain the difference. In "Godzilla (2014)", Godzilla is plump. He has jagged dorsal plates, wide elephant - like feet and noticeable gills and he was 355 ft. He comes out of hiding to stop two hideous star crossed lovers (i.e. the MUTO's) !!! And his Atomic Breath looked like smoke and had no devastating effects on buildings and didn't cause fires, but one devastating effect was when he shot his Atomic Breath in the Female MUTO's mouth which ripped her head off and the body sank in the water. In "Godzilla : King Of The Monsters", he's taller (now he's 393 ft tall) and beefier. His lower half looks less stubby, his tail tip is more blunt and his dorsal fins are less sharp (they are now wider, longer and maple leaf shaped) and artfully glowing. He also has bigger and longer claws (since he's got a bigger and tougher enemy to face i.e. King Ghidorah) and more rougher skin. Later he is given extra radiation. And after ashes rain down on him, he gets a fiery new look and power upgrade, helping him to retain his kingly crown.
