"B" means BULB mode... but "brief time" works too as long as you use it the same :)

The Nikkor 105mm f2.5 telephoto lens is outstanding, I have the FE,FE2,FM,Fm2n,FA,F3,F4,F5 and countless others, all great cameras.

I have just 'Taken Over' all my Wife's NIKON gear as she never uses it now -- I have done a first small length of Fuji Acros film in the FE2 using all the lenses -- the lenses go on the WRONG WAY compared to my 'Other Makes' but I am getting used to it ! Keep Snapping !! ------ Peter

Peter Elgar It all comes down to point of view. For me everything except Nikon seems to me like the wrong way

I have a Nikon FE which came with a Nikon 50mm 1.8 which wasn't as sharp a my 55mm 2.8 micro so I sold it, the lens, not the camera!. I also have a Nikon E series 75 to 150mm f3.5 zoom which is surprisingly very sharp for a budget lens. I also use a 24mm 2.8 af lens on the FE which is a very useful focal length which I prefer to a 28mm as there is less distortion but still with excellent sharpness plus a huge depth of field. I use this af lens on my Nikon D300s which gives a useful 36mm equivalent on the ruduced sensor

Another difference between the two is that the FE will accept non-AI lenses, while the FE2 will not.

I think the Tamron SP 70-210mm is actually an Adaptall-2 mount. Why just not get the genuine Nikon mount plate? The AI-s version (with the rabbit years) costs around 20 bucks here in the US.

Until now I never use more than 1/250 or faster, that is why I own my pristine FE , during 1985 as a teenage I can’t afford the FM2 or FE2, what I can do I was go to the shop and drool....

My Wife got it from a Widow Lady -- belonging to a 'Camera Club' often people will contact the Secretary with Film Cameras they want to dispose of. Also you can try e-bay I suppose .

NO Sorry - I USE all my cameras in Rotation and it keeps my mind off my Cancer problems .

Hi Sir There are many classic Nikon cameras such as FN, FM2, FN2, Fe, Fe2, F3, Fm and many others. Is it possible for you to choose three for me? One of its most important advantages is that it accepts lenses such as Ai ai-s, Non ai, and Nikon Nikkor S auto and nikon DC and other lenses in that period from 70 to 94 as i think ? Thanks
