SS (Same to Same) Code: SS code indicates that the meter reading for the current billing cycle is the same as the previous cycle.This usually means that there has been no recorded consumption of electricity between the two readings.
LK (Lock) Code :
Purpose: LK code indicates that the meter reader was unable to access the meter because the premises were locked. As a result reading could not be obtained for that billing cycle.In this case the utility provider may issue an estimated bill based on past consumption or average usage.
DF (Defective) Code : DF code signifies that the meter has been identified as defective. This means the meter is not providing accurate readings or is not functioning properly, which impacts the billing accuracy.
