There's something about Brave Heart that's always so uplifting. As much as I love Hey Digimon, I really wish something like this had made it into the localized version. Really glad I found another version I can understand.

It's like a message to those who have a heart, that just by being them and spreading that love; it can change or shatter the coldness and hopelessness in the world. They can make a difference, And that's just a powerful message.

I was having a major depressive breakdown. I felt completely lost with no hope. I tried playing various songs to cheer me up but none of them worked. Until I heard your lyrics Dave. That entire paragraph about the sun, the rain and the mystery person was so heartwarming that it cracked a smile on my face. Good job. The lyrics didn't feel too forced. Love "release the power you never lacked", it just reinforces that positivity we would expect from a show geared to youth and reinforcing self confidence. This would serve as a great version for the dub 😁 if they remaster digimon they should contact you for this cover!

I have such a deep emotional connection to this song. Honestly Digimon has been a huge part of my life since it first came out. You managed to take what is already an amazing song and turned it into something even more iconic. The lyrics are perfect, the singing really does have the same feel as Ayumi Miyazaki. Beautiful.

Ok, as I listened to this version for the first time, I raised my eyebrow in surprise of how good the first rhyme was. Then the second. Then the third. And they kept coming. This is all just perfect. (Maybe except the 'perfect' rhyme of discouraged/courage, cause it doesn't sound as good when the word is basically the same.) And not just because the rhymes are good, but that the text is so inspiring and it plays with the strings of your soul the right way. Wow, just wow. This is perfection. This is the official English dub of Brave Heart for me now!
