For the Unaware: *This is a visual novel first!* The game is 70% visual novel, and 30% SRPG. It's best enjoyed if you want an interactive story, and not a SRPG heavy game. This is a great game, as long as you go in knowing what to expect. I just wish the West was told about this a bit more obviously. Not everyone in the West would listen to info from a foreign country. And Bandai Namco, if you're reading this, please push for more Digimon advertising. This is a wellspring of potential success, it just needs some more attention to it.

Mayo becomes a weeb yeah! The Digimon Story team that most recently made the Cyber Sleuth games said they are working on a new Digimon Story game. The games wet on an annual cycle for 3 years and this delay of Survive messed that up, but it’s not crazy to think we would get Survive in 2020 and the new Story game in 2021.

@@mtg5e892 Apparently from what's known about the new Digimon Story game is that it's not set in the Cyber Sleuth Universe with the Digimon Story team stating that the stories of Ami and the main protagonist of Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory have come to an end. And the main plot for the next Digimon Story game might have the group of Mega Level Digimon known as the "12 Olympians" in a decent role to major role in the main plot though it's still unknown if the 12 Olympians will be in this upcoming entry or the one after it since the team did state that they we're going to do a entry in the Digimon Story series with a plot centered around the 12 Olympians eventually. All we know about the new Digimon Story game is that the main character will be traveling through both the Real World and the Digital World.

Ahmpire easily the setup is godlike so you’re telling me that you’re going to give a digimon game. . Where it’s not like the traditional digimon games and shows where it’s all about friendship. . They get stuck in the digital world and now they have to make the right choices and “SURVIVE” or they might all die. The buildup in this short movie was nice. . It showed us that this game has potential to have a bomb ass story! And let’s be real if this was an anime I would watch it religiously 😂😂🔥

My thoughts: 1. Classic trait of almost all main Digimon protags: goggles. And he probably won't even put them over his eyes when he needs to. 2. Even if we didn't see any actual Digimon, it was interesting to meet the characters and speculate their different roles. 3. Agumon, Labramon, and Falcomon are the main characters' partners? Interesting selection. I wonder how their Digivolutions will progress as the game goes on. All in all, very much looking forward to this and Cyber Sleuth's Switch release. Been a Digimon fan since I was little, and that's not gonna change anytime soon.

From what's been revealed the digivolution lines for Agumon, Labramon, and Falcomon will be dependent on the choices made during important story cutscenes.

I would love if Next Order got on Switch as well. That game is SO GOOD. I have the JP version on my Vita, as well as an english translated version, though that had to be brought out via hacking. The gameplay is still great though. I love Digimon!

I'm in love already. This was like watching the start of an amazing movie. The characters are all charming, looking, sounding and feeling like actual people; not a single soulless moeblob to be found. In fact the character design reminds of Kitou Mohiro (Narutaru, Bokurano). It makes me so incredibly happy to see Digimon bringing to Japanese media for youth the believable characters and interesting storytelling it so desperately misses these days. I can't help but remember the beautiful Digimon Adventure and Digimon Tamers watching this intro... and it just makes me so hopeful about the future. From the start, this game is doing everything right. I won't be able to play the game but I'm sincerely hoping it succeeds and opens the gate for more works on this level of quality and care. All the best for the future of Digimon.

YES! Just yes, it resembles the original Digimon series so much. The element of natural disasters in the real world that was a topic of the beginning in episode one and then sudden snow in spring. It's perfect, it's so nostalgic, this is real love for the franchise. Thanks to everyone of the Digimon company that worked on this masterpiece. :')

And yes this game is nostalgic, for me and over thousand other people that grew up with the adventure group. It's perfect cause it looks like it is well crafted. It's real love cause like the company itself stated is this game like a love letter to the fans of the franchise. So just let it be and leave the people alone that are satisfied with it. Hätte ich nie gewusst von diesem Digimon Teil das es ein Spiel ist hätte ich bei dem Video echt gedacht das es ein neuer Anime ist von Digimon, aber erlich gesagt erinnert mich dieses Video von Zeichnung so wie der Atmosphäre an die alten Digimon Teil mit dem Camp und nicht an die die danach folgten :D ... Can't wait to play this !!! , I'm also going to buy Cyber Sleuth collection for switch to support Digimon again I have it on PS4 but will be great to have both games on my switch , More Digimon games the better also I think they are also working on a new PS4 DIGIMON STORY game that will come out after SURVIVE. I Would also love to get another Digimon Rumble game I own all 3 Rumble games would love a new one with a bigger budget. The more DIGIMON games we get the better so DIGIMON fans keep supporting DIGIMON games and we will keep getting them !

@@chrisliam2 going through Cyber Sleuth and after that Hackers memory. Plan on getting next order after that. Sucks the dlc is limited timed :(

BandaiNamco in Brazil has a lot of Digimon fans... here pokemon and digimon are the same in popularity... please bring this game in PT-BR... digimon fans of brazil will love it...
